The guesthouse is a nice, spacious upstairs apartment in newly built home on a quiet back country road surrounded by fields & forest. We are located in the heart of Amish country in Lancaster County away from the hustle and bustle, where you will hear the sound of horse and buggies. There is a one room school house a short walk up the road. You can watch the school children walking to school every morning while school is in session. You will enter the front entrance into private foyer to upstairs. It is a private area on the second floor with two bedrooms, a queen bed in each. The sitting area includes 2 full sofas, one folds down to a bed. Also a dormer with a single sofa bed. The kitchen is made with old barn wood from the family farm. It includes an apartment sized fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric skillet, a table which seats 6 people. A large flatscreen TV is in the sitting area. It is not connected to cable TV but is connected to the WIFI giving you access to many of the popular streaming sites. You will need to provide your own login credentials for subscription based streaming platforms. The entrance has a keypad for easy come and go without needing a key. This will be a wonderful home away from home to stay and relax and see the sights. You may also enjoy the outdoor pavilion with picnic table and chairs to relax. A grill will be provided if you need one. We do not allow pets We do not allow smoking on the property. We do not allow parties.
