Cozy mountain cabin in Funäsdalen

Welcome to a newly-built and homey mountain cabin in the heart of Kåvan, Funäsdalen. A fresh Attefall house at the foot of Funäsdalsberget. The cottage is located close to the ski resort with direct access to cross-country and ski tracks, summer trails and bike trails – perfect for both winter and summer. Behind the house flows the river Ljusnan, just a stone's throw away. Here you can fish, paddle, and pick mushrooms and berries in season. An ideal place for those who want to combine relaxation with active days in the mountains! The space Cozy newly built mountain cabin of 24.5 sqm – perfect for both relaxation and adventure. The floor plan consists of a bright living room with sofa, dining area and kitchenette, a bedroom, a loft and bathroom. The nice living room has large windows overlooking Funäsdalsberget. There is also a modern, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, induction stove, refrigerator and freezer compartment, and dining area for 4 people. From the kitchen, you can reach a small terrace with seating furniture (stored in the storage room) and a simple grill – perfect for the summer. The cottage sleeps a total of 4: one bedroom with a queen size double bed (160 cm) and smart TV, and a loft with two single beds. All beds have new duvets and pillows, and extra blankets are available for cozy evenings. For coffee lovers, there is both a capsule machine (bring your own capsules) and a pour-over with a permanent filter (only coffee powder is needed). The bathroom is fresh with floor heating, shower, toilet and combined washer/dryer. Wi-Fi with 100/100 broadband included. Outside, there is parking at the door and a small storage house (1 sqm). Note: Guests bring their own bed linens (duvet covers, pillowcases, sheets) and towels. Other things to note Practical information: - Guests bring their own bedding (duvet covers, pillowcases, sheets) and towels. - The cottage should be cleaned on departure. Cleaning supplies are located under the kitchen sink and in the storage house. Vacuum cleaner and mop are by the entrance. In the event that you do not clean, SEK 1,000 will be charged. - Pets and smoking are not allowed. Hot water: Currently, there is a water heater of about 50 liters. Once it is used up, it takes 1–2 hours before new hot water is heated. I apologize for the inconvenience – we are working to improve the hot water solution. Note: A railing as fall protection at the loft will be installed in the spring of 2026.
