Oceanfront, water views, Overlook at Shore Haven

Shore Haven is 7 acres, set far off the road, with 650 feet of shoreline on Frenchman Bay. Overlook is a year round house with commanding 180° views. Eagles, Loons (in season), exceptional birding. Access to shoreline steps from door. There is easy access to all MDI attractions and amenities. Cycling, hiking, antiquing, restaurants, galleries. Two barely visible chalets, also available, share the shoreline. Plenty of privacy. There is a rental agreement. It will be sent to you when you rent. The space Overlook is sunny and airy, post & beam construction. There are fantastic views from almost every room. You'll enjoy the relaxing, well appointed, open concept living room/dining room, with a cathedral ceiling and a wall of windows facing the bay. If music adds to your enjoyment, there is a Sonos system for wireless streaming. Or, connect your Ipod to the receiver. Overlook has a sunny, spacious, wraparound deck facing the bay for bbqs and hanging out. There is also a screened in porch for dining and relaxing. Gas and charcoal grills and a gas outdoor heater for chilly evenings are available for your use. WiFi, line phone. The kitchen is well equipped (enjoy the cappuccino maker) for those who love to cook. There are four spacious, comfy bedrooms, plus fold out queen couch. The master bedroom has a small work space and its own private balcony. Three full baths, a washer and dryer. Up to 12 people. 2,300 sq ft. Smart TVs in all the bedrooms, some w/ DVD. Guest access Guests have access to almost every space in the house (our work shop and store room are not accessible). Feel free to use anything within reach. Other things to note We are pet friendly. Dogs are welcome, but not cats. There is a pet fee of $150 per pet per stay. If you have more than one dog, please be in touch with us. If your dog is larger than 50 lbs, please let us know.
