You just might want to hibernate here. This brand-new walk-out suite was built in 2023 in a 1910 heritage home, originally owned and built by the station master at the Nelson Train Station. The mountain modern aesthetic will have you wishing you lived here full-time. Perfect for two, can accommodate six. No matter the season, the outdoor gathering space will have you feeling like you might not even need to venture off the property. The custom bench seating with outdoor pillows is both pretty and private. The mature maple tree shading the space and sheltering the home is nature at it’s finest. The patio space features an outdoor kitchen with grill and cooktop. Also accessed from the patio is the custom and lockable ski storage area and boot dryer for ski season. Shovel no longer – the concrete patio surface is heated in wintertime! Enter through the double doors of the suite into the farmhouse modern kitchen featuring: a gas range stove, fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine, and all the small appliances for a gourmet stay. The kitchen has island seating for two and a dining table that seats four. Hosts provide oils, spices, and coffee. Sleep in the trees in the bedroom featuring a king-sized bed with 400 thread count sheets and a down duvet. The muted colours contribute to the quality of calm in the bedroom. The custom tiled bathroom has both tub and shower options with a rain shower and hand wand. Dry off with pretty Turkish towels, hosts provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The main living space features two EQ3 pullout couches with queen beds. The second couch and sleeping area includes reading lights on each side of the bed (you’re welcome!) and also includes a privacy screen that can be set up if desired. The 55 inch Smart TV and Apple TV is ready for you to log into your Netflix, Disney Plus, or Prime accounts for movie night. In suite laundry is another bonus. Shared Home: This suite is located in a 113 year old heritage home. Builders have done all they can architecturally to sound-proof the space however a lovely family lives upstairs and go about their business being a…family with kids. Please respect noise during quiet hours and they will too. Expect to hear the light pitter patter of little-people feet. Parking: There is one parking space for one vehicle alongside the suite’s fence. Any additional vehicles will need to park on the street nearby. Pets: We love furry friends and know that your best friends travel with you. Please know that you are responsible to mark down on your initial booking if you plan to bring your bestie and that there is a $60 pet fee associated with each stay. Guest access Guests have access to the entire walk out suite and outdoor patio area adjacent to the entrance of the suite. Other things to note There is only one step down from the concrete path at the parking area to the suite. It is a very short distance from the parking spot to the suite (like probably 20 paces!) - no lugging bags up stairways or long distances! Great for elderly people or those with mobility challenges.
