Cabin in Jasper

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, look no further! If you enjoy very secluded, very private, wooded surroundings with wildlife sightings, then this is the getaway for you. Cabin is bordered on the South by hundreds of acres of Ozark National Forest. Located just 3 miles off scenic Hwy 7 and 15 miles south of historic Jasper, Arkansas. This cabin is completely off grid. Very secluded. Sleeps 3 in the same room. Two in the bed and one on pull out twin chair bed. The space Lone Star Ridge cabin is located on 40 secluded acres at the farthest northern point of the mountain, on a ridge looking north, right down the center of what's called the Parthenon Valley. The cabin is open concept in design, meaning you can unwind and relax in one of our recliners, watch one of the provided movies on DVD, then when you're ready to call it a night, turn the television towards the queen size, Tempur-Pedic style bed and doze off to another movie if you so desire. Or you could enjoy your favorite beverage on the full-length back porch as you enjoy the view of Parthenon valley. Mountains to the East, woods to the west. Totally secluded. Guest access Though the cabin is located on County Road 8801, all-wheel drive or 4x4 vehicles are highly recommended because the road is gravel and dirt. Other things to note Lone Star Ridge cabin is completely off grid. Meaning the electricity is provided by solar and stored in batteries and the water is by rain catchment and cistern stored. The water goes through a filtering and purification process and is safe to cook with and drink, however we suggest bottled water for drinking. Guests are asked to conserve electricity and water during their stay. For its remote location, we get pretty good cell reception through Verizon. Good enough for calls in and out. We also have StarLink internet you can hook into.
