The space Located in a late 18th century building on the Kurrentgasse, a picturesque street a few steps from Judenplatz, in the nicest area of the historic centre, in the middle of the first district. The whole area is pedestrian, including the Kurrentgasse, full with the nicest cafes and restaurants in Vienna. At the ground floor of the building you can enjoy the fresh products of the oldest bakery in Vienna! The apartment, on the second floor (third floor American) (with elevator) is spacious, 80m² (860 sq.f.), and has 1 master bedroom (with a King size bed and a single bed), a large living/dining room (with one single/double bed and a couch where one person can sleep), a lobby with shoe and coat storage, as well as a really fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, and a separate toilet. In the living roomthere is a 37” HDTV, a CD/DVD/Bluray player, as well as a bookshelf with leaflets and books about Vienna and toys and games for children and adults. An unlimited WIFi Internet connection is also included in the price. Netflix, Prime & Co available with your own credentials. Parking: the underground Garage "Am Hof" on Am Hof square is less than 100 meters/yards from the apartment. Check-in: we meet you at the apartment for check-in - no apps to download, no lockboxes. You receive physical keys - 2 sets - to access the building, the elevator and the apartment. Location, location. The feeling of living in this part of town, one of the oldest of Vienna (end of 18th century), with all the charming labyrinthine streets filled with traditional shops, restaurants and cafes, is really unique. No cars. St-Stephens cathedral is 200m away from the flat (about 3 minutes by foot) as is the underground station for the rare times you'll actually have to take transportation (for instance the day you go to the Schönbrunn palace which is out of town). In 5 minutes or less by foot, you can reach the Hofburg, the Spanish riding school, the Graben, Kärntnerstrasse, the Cafe Central and dozens of other sites. Guest access This is a full apartment in an apartment building Other things to note Important: please contact us prior to booking if your flight is scheduled to land after 23h/11PM - LATE CHECK-IN after 21h (9pm): a 50€ extra fee is due; after midnight (00h): a 80€ extra fee is due - EARLY ARRIVAL: luggage can usually be dropped as early as 11am without extra charge - Luggage room after check-out: can be used against a 20€ (total) fee. Has to be booked at check-in. - starter quantities of oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee beans, sugar, dishwasher tabs, detergent, toilet paper are offered; they are not meant to last for your whole stay nor are they replenished. Affordable grocery stores are a few minutes walk. Energy: Based on fair use - i.e. keep temperature below 21° in winter, turn off lights and devices when not in use. Conserve energy to avoid paying extra! An automatic discount is applied for stays of one week or more. We reply within 2 hours during Austrian daytime, or the next morning. Our apartments feature the absolute best location in Vienna, fast free WiFi Check-in time: our guests MUST let us know means of transport and arrival time at least one week in advance, or latest 48hrs in advance, in order for us to be available at your desired time. If you are coming by car and are not sure, let us know your projected arrival time, and keep us updated of GPS ETA the day of travel, including a call one hour prior to arrival.
