Kick back and relax in this beautifully renovated 1847 Centennial home in the heart of Norwalk, OH. My home offers a calm and stylish space to enjoy the many attractions in the area. Norwalk offers fantastic access to the thrills of Cedar Point (30 min drive) and the excitement of the Summit Motorsports Park (3 miles) as well as easy access to the Turnpike 80/90 (6 miles). I’m excited to welcome you to my home. The spacious guest room is located on the first floor with a digital lock on the door. The room offers a memory foam full/double size bed, rocking/swivel chair, closet with hangers and ample space for belongings. The bathroom is located on the first floor, and currently only designated for the first floor guest room. The bathroom offers a shower (no Bath), towels, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, lotion, cotton balls & swabs. There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom however, the guest room is set up with mirror and outlets. A fire pit is located in the backyard for your enjoyment. Sticks for s’mores and hotdogs are available as well. Reclining chairs placed around the pit, offer comfortable star gazing. Washer, dryer, detergent and softener are available upon request. Self serve coffee & tea bar is available 24/7. TV with Roku is available in the living room. Kitchen is available however, limited to microwave and refrigerator. Due to insurance restrictions, I cannot at this time, offer the stove or oven. I ask that space that is utilized is returned to the condition you found it. I am very open to special request or accommodations, so please reach out to me and I will do my very best to make your stay here comfortable. My Airbnb is constantly improving and new rooms will be opening within the next year. There are many exciting structural & amenity changes scheduled in the near future with my labor of love home. I work from home and available at checkin for a meet and greet. I have two cats in the house and will be with me in my office the majority of the time unless you would like their company. Just please be very cautious when going in and out of the house, because one is a runner and will try to dart out. Due to guest with allergy sensitivity to cats/dander, I ask that the cats not be allowed in the guest room. The Wi-Fi address and password is located in the dining room. I am always available (minus scheduled meetings) to assist with any questions or recommendations about the area. Breakfast is served in the dining area before 9am unless special circumstances. We are located in a peaceful & quiet neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Norwalk. Close to Cedar Point, Raceway, the Sandusky Islands, Amish country, turnpike, Milan (birthplace, and childhood home of Thomas Edison) big box & boutique stores, quaint cafés & great restaurants, as well as many more attractions . The property can accommodate one designated vehicle (two with prior coordination). Uber is available in the area (roughly $30 +- time/date to Cedar Point). Local delivery services are available (Doordash, Uber Eats, Instacart). Hospital located 1.1 mile away. The room is comfortable for two people, however, if you are in need of an air mattress, there is one available and would sleep two for an additional price. Please reach out and we can discuss.
