Welcome to the Craftsman Bungalow Guest House. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. It is a 1930's Sears Craftsman home located near downtown Greenup, about 1 mile from Rt 70. Greenup, known as the Village of the Porches between Interstate 70, IL RT 40 and IL RT 130, with over 1500 residents. Our Main Street (Cumberland St/Il Rt 121) is also part of the National Road, attractive old architecture, beautiful overhanging porches leading to our Covered Bridge The space The Craftsman Bungalow Guest House is an almost 100-year-old, 2 bedrooms, extra cots, one bath, and cozy living room with wood burning fireplace, while you listen to records, CDs, or tv. There's an assortment of games and books. The kitchen is big enough to cook breakfast with all the equipment you'll need, then sit in the dining room and enjoy the old home feeling. Please, No grease frying or there will be an additional price. There are two big rockers on the front porch, ready for a game of checkers. If you're ready for a BBQ or roasted marshmallows, the backyard firepit and grill are waiting for you. This guest house is only one block off Main Street but quiet enough to enjoy the birds. And for the energetic group, there are exercise equipment and bikes. Other things to note Basement is not available for use by guests.
