Welcome! The space Access to the apartment is easy, as it is located just two blocks from the Plaza de Armas metro station and a few blocks from Parque Forestal. The building is located on a well-known street, making it easy to reach by taxi. The space is characterized by an open concept, with a living-dining room and kitchen separated by a counter. The bedroom is separated by a door. Sunlight fills every space in the apartment, but the apartment also has blackout curtains that allow complete darkness for a good night's sleep. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed. The bathroom with a bathtub has a shower, with good hot water pressure. We provide clean sheets and towels for your stay, and the apartment also has a hairdryer. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric stovetop, a refrigerator with a separate freezer, and an extractor fan, as well as other items such as a microwave, an electric oven, an electric kettle, and a coffee maker for whole-grain coffee. The apartment is on the 15th floor, accessible by elevator, overlooking a spacious area with natural light. During the winter months in Santiago (June to September), we provide an electric heater (please make sure to turn it off when you are not in the apartment). In Santiago, winters are typically mild, with average minimum temperatures of 0 or 2 degrees Celsius (32 to 36 Fahrenheit). The heater is very efficient, keeping the room at an excellent temperature. The apartment has a high-speed internet connection. You can use the television. It has local digital HDTV and local channels, and is also a Smart TV. Guest access The building has controlled access and 24x7 concierge. On the rooftop of the building, there is a large seasonal swimming pool and terrace, from where to contemplate the city and the Cordillera. The building has a laundry room (self-service), coin-operated and application, with several commercial washing machines and dryers. Other things to note The space is configured as strictly NON-SMOKING, offering an excellent place to enjoy the neuralgic center of the city and its rhythm. If you have an international flight in the morning, and a morning check-in is also required, it is necessary to book the night before the arrival date, as we cannot guarantee an early check-in. LATE CHECKOUT REQUESTS Subject to availability, it is possible to request a late checkout at 12 noon (maximum). To take this option, please let us know as soon as possible after booking. Otherwise, due to high demand, it is unlikely that we will be able to accommodate you at the last minute. If you have a late afternoon or evening flight and need to leave the apartment after 12 noon, it is necessary to add an additional night to the reservation. In order to prepare, clean and sanitize the apartment for the next guest, we do not have additional flexibility. NO LUGGAGE STORAGE AVAILABLE Please note that, according to building management policy, the concierge (the doorman) is not authorized to store luggage. Also, in order to comply with current cleaning protocols, it is not possible to leave suitcases with the cleaning staff before check-in, nor after check-out. AIR CONDITIONING The apartment has an air conditioner, which offers a practical way to cool the space on warmer days. It is a fixed split system. It is very comfortable to use and in a few minutes the whole room is cool in summer or warm in winter.
