Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. The walnut tree is our beautiful, comfortable gite. Look out the window and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and nature this area of the Dordogne has to offer. Keep an eye out for deer, owls, red squirrels and many more. We are directly opposite the river beach of Saint Aulaye and on the edge of this historic old village. Wander up the hill to the boulangerie, shops and weekly market. Launderette facilities available in the village. The space Walking from your secure parking spot along a short gravel path you will pass the Walnut tree that represents the gite. Enter the property through the outdoor patio area overlooking the valley and river. French doors lead to a large open plan kitchen, dining area and large corner sofa area. Full built in modern kitchen with hob and full sized oven, microwave, coffee machine and dishwasher. Log burner available for the colder months. From the kitchen window the view is of an idyllic dordogne view of church, river and our own natural spring. From here walk through an old wooden door to the downstairs hall area which leads to a shower room and a single bedroom overlooking the large rear garden. Upstairs on the landing is a workspace with desk and light, Further on is a large family bathroom with enclosed shower, bath and heated towel radiator. Two further large bedrooms one double and one twin are on this floor, both with large traditional wardrobes and drawers. All bedrooms have a view of the water ponds, forest and countryside. Guest access The rear garden is fully available for guests to use at there leisure. It is large and surrounded by country views. Please refrain from using the front garden.
