South of Lexington, slice of history built in the 1930s, and updated to be the perfect getaway for generations to come! The space Everything you need is here for a relaxing getaway; just pack your clothes and go! Second floor, 2,000 sq. ft. apartment conveniently located within walking distance to private neighborhood beach access. The space features free wifi, multiple smart TVs, air conditioning, and full-sized appliances to make this feel like home away from home! Bedroom #1: The master bedroom features a plush, king-sized bed on a gorgeous log bed frame. There is a full-sized closet with hangers, ceiling fan, box fan, extra linens/pillows, and a 45" smart TV. Bedroom #2: Perfect setup for a kid's room or group of close friends. This bedroom features a twin bunk bed, single twin bed, and futon that converts to a full-sized bed. There is a full-sized closet with hangers, ceiling fan, box fan, extra linens/pillows, and a 45" smart TV. Kitchen: This open layout space includes everything you need to dine in as if you were home in your own kitchen! All necessary dishes, pots/pans, silverware, glasses, etc. are available. There are full-sized, stainless steel appliances - dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric stove/oven, and microwave. Enjoy a hot beverage from our drip coffee maker or Keurig with provided K-cups and coffee grounds/filters. Our gorgeous, handmade dining table seats 6. Or lounge on the adjacent love seat couch. All basic cleaning supplies and detergent/soaps are also provided. Full Bathroom: This spaces includes - a dual-showerhead, tiled shower; multiple bath and beach towels; hair dryer; basic travel-sized toiletries; toilet paper; and a first aid kit. Laundry: Skip the hassle of a laundromat while on vacation! Provided is a full-sized washer and dryer with detergent, softener, and dryer sheets. Living Room: Entry to the apartment opens to a large living room which has: a massive, leather sectional; futon that converts to a full-sized, memory foam mattress; 65" smart TV, reading nook; and high-top table. Balcony Deck/Outdoor Space: Just open the door off the living room to enjoy the brand new, private balcony deck for an outdoor meal or quiet cup of coffee in the sun. The property not only has ample room for parking, but also an open grassy yard behind the building (water side) for outdoor games or relaxing. The rental apartment is on the 2nd floor of the building. A full flight of indoor stairs must be used to enter. Guest access You will have the whole apartment to yourselves, privately. Currently, the downstairs portion of the building is vacant so you will not have to be concerned about additional noise or people during your stay. A unique code will be sent to you prior to check-in for use on the entryway smart lock for contactless check-in. Other things to note This building is a slice of Lexington history dating back to the 1930s when it was originally built to be a tavern. Many years, additions, renovations, and love have made it the building it is today. My husband and I bought the property in September 2022 and have been working to breathe life back into the building after being empty for a few years. That process started with this rental apartment and we hope it can be enjoyed by visitors for many years to come!
