Situated in the beautiful Somerset village of North Curry, right on the edge of the Somerset Levels, the property is a short walk from the village shop/ Post Office, pub, church and coffee shop. The perfect location to explore Somerset and surrounding areas. The space Scrumpy’s Retreat is a newly built detached one bedroom property with all new fixtures and fittings so all guests can expect a very high quality and comfortable accommodation. The front door of the property opens directly into the hallway, with hooks for hanging coats and space for footwear. There is a shower room with shower, sink, vanity unit and WC. On the opposite side of the hallway is a bedroom with a kingsize bed, built in wardrobe, TV and garden views. Back into the hallway and ahead there is a light and airy open plan lounge/ kitchen/ diner. The well equipped kitchen has an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. A perfect place to relax over a lazy breakfast, a Somerset Ploughman’s, an Afternoon cream tea or cook a romantic meal for two. The lounge area has a TV with Freeview, on demand capability and Wi-Fi. It has a large 2 seater sofa and a ‘Snuggle armchair’ to relax and enjoy the views. Outside, the property benefits from its own enclosed garden, which is accessed via bi-fold doors from the lounge area. Here you can sit at the garden table and chairs or lay back in one of the sun loungers with countryside views to an old cider apple orchard and fields leading to the Somerset Levels………. A wonderful place to relax and unwind. There is plenty of wildlife to see including a variety of wild birds, rabbits, squirrels, foxes, sheep, lambs and cows……….
