Welcome to our newly renovated, ranch-style country home, located just a few steps from the beaches of Peconic Bay, all sorts of fun locations in Mattituck, and only minutes in driving time from Greenport, Southold, Jamesport, Riverhead, and many points south in the Hamptons. Pool generally opens May 19 and closes mid September/early October. Our centrally located abode features three bedrooms each with a flat-screen TV, a fully stocked kitchen, large living room with flat-screen TV, two sparkling new bathrooms, patio, new hardwood floors, and central air conditioning. Enjoy our spacious backyard and beautiful 40x20 pool, BBQ grill, lounge chairs, aloe plants, rose bushes, and plenty of umbrellas to make this a true oasis. Relax by the pool or take a five-minute walk to one of two sandy beaches – one is small and quaint and the other is larger with a playground, bathroom, picnic tables, and periodic events. Head across the street and enjoy the quiet charm of the Peconic Bay via a charming walking path. This path is located directly across from our home which leads to a nestled area between two homes with wooden benches – perfect to sit and enjoy a cool drink each day at sunrise or sunset. With our backyard fire pit, you can light up the night and enjoy 360-degree views of all the stars in the constellations. November thru April 15th indulge in a Cappuccino, or Latte, Espresso with toppers, or a fine hot chocolate from our local chcolate boutique at our hot chocolate station during your rest. Nespresso (Cappuccino & Expresso Machine & Topping Station as well as Hot Chocolate Bar Available November thru April 15th Husing Pond Preserve is also a five-minute walk if you're in the mood to visit nature. Ice cream might be screaming your name after that hike with Magic Fountain just up the street, and the exquisite gastropub eats of Love Lane Kitchen and the delicious bites of Village Cheese Shop. The north fork is home to over 40 vineyards, a growing number of breweries, and endless farm stands. A unique way to explore the north fork is from the seat of a bicycle. A company offering multiple options is East End Bike Tours in Mattituck (guided, self-guided, tours with e-bikes). Say hello to the Hamptons in a 30-minute ride to Westhampton Beach for sweet delights at the Beach Bakery Cafe, antiques galore at Collect, and perhaps some locally caught seafood appetizers and a pint or two at Brewology in neighboring Speonk. Drive a few more miles east on 27 and you’ll find more wonderful dining options in Hampton Bays and Southampton including Publick House. Head northeast and you’ll hit the hamlet of Southold to find local beer and wine at Taps and Corks and fine dining at A’Lure. A little further east is the Village of Greenport with endless casual and fine dining options, several boutique shops – and even a comic store! This nautical old port town has something for adults and children alike. If you’re in the mood for live entertainment, Suffolk Theater in Riverhead, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, and the Stephen Talkhouse in Southampton all offer top-notch musical and comedy acts. This home is perfectly situated for you and your family to enjoy a relaxing vacation, any time of the year – summers on the beach, fall harvest festivals, or quiet winters to enjoy all the East End has to offer. There is an extra guest fee of $350 per person p charge for any guests exceeding the 7 person maximum capacity. Guest access The rental property allows 7 guests, and includes 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, 2 living rooms, 2 bathrooms, and fully equipped kitchens. You will have access to the whole house during your stay. Other things to note Upon arrival is a book which includes a breakdown by town of different attractions, including dining options as well. Bed linens and Towels are provided for the pool as well as for bathing Toiletries are provided as well as a small hair dryer in each bathroom
