Wake up early to help milk the cows and feed the calves.- or watch During planting and harvest, ride in a big tractor or combine. Help unload hay and straw into the mow, or just enjoy the beautiful country side. Take long, quite walks into the woods or through the pastures. In the evenings, enjoy the hot tub The farmhouse is comfortable, not fancy. The space This is a 4 th generation working farm. We crop farm 2300 acres and milk 80 cows. In the fall, the grain operation is located on the property next to the house - we dry down all of our corn and store it in the bins for the guys to haul to market in the winter. This keeps our 6 employees busy year round. Each one of the big bins holds 30 semi loads of corn. There is always something happening on the farm, and we invite you to watch or participate- as you are comfortable. We love to give you the tour and explain what we are doing any why. Other things to note For the most part this is a fairly remote area, in the country, on a dirt road. It is usually very quiet and peaceful. There are times of the year , mostly during planting and harvest, that there are lots of activity going on. Every day we have big tractors doing something. There are times of the year that the dryer runs to dry down the moisture level of the corn- so it will be able to be stored safely for the winter.
