The nearby village of Thorpeness (5 miles) is an ideal destination for a leisurely day trip, boasting an alluring charm. Snape Maltings, 3 miles away, offers a medley of shop outlets, eateries and its acclaimed concert hall. For an insight into the area's history, wander 10 miles east to the site of Dunwich. This once-thriving medieval port is now almost entirely submerged and is an incredible sight.
