We have recently installed dual-layer blackout protection, featuring blackout curtains in addition to the standard blackout shades. From the fresh, modern finishes of a newer building to the prime downtown location, you won't find a more convenient home base for your stay. Guest access 🔑 GUEST ACCESS Accessing the apartment is a secure, two-step process: Step 1: Building Entry – Use the digital key, provided in the check-in guidebook, to enter the main building. Step 2: Key Fob – Once inside the lobby, you will retrieve a physical key fob from a secure lockbox on the 1st floor. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: This fob is mandatory to access the residential floors via the elevator/stairs and to unlock the apartment door. 🚪 CHECK-OUT: The fob must be returned to the lockbox upon departure. Failure to return the fob will result in a $100 replacement fee as noted in the House Rules. Other things to note 🏢 Building & Accessibility 5th Floor Location: Please note that the apartment is located on the 5th floor. Elevator Policy: While an elevator is available, in the event of maintenance or a mechanical outage, guests must be prepared to use the stairs. By booking, guests acknowledge they are comfortable accessing the 5th floor via stairs if necessary. 🚗 Parking Information Not Included: Parking is not included in your reservation. Short-Term: There is ample metered and street parking immediately surrounding the apartment complex. Long-Term (30+ Nights): Guests have the option to purchase a monthly pass through the Birmingham Parking Authority at Parking Deck 8. The cost is approximately $80/month. Guest Responsibility: All parking arrangements, payments, and key card pickups are the sole responsibility of the guest. We do not manage or coordinate parking services. 📺 Entertainment & Mail Streaming: Guests are welcome to log into their personal streaming accounts (Netflix, Hulu, etc.) on the provided Smart TV. Cable and paid subscription services are not included. No Mail Delivery: USPS mail cannot be accepted or delivered at this location. All packages/mail must be sent to a nearby Amazon Hub, UPS Store, or a personal PO Box. 🐾 PET POLICY We are happy to welcome well-behaved dogs under 50 lbs! To ensure a great stay for everyone, please note our requirements: Disclosure: All pets must be disclosed at the time of booking. Bringing an undisclosed pet is a violation of our house rules and may result in immediate cancellation. Fees: A non-refundable $199 pet fee applies per stay. Dogs: We welcome pups under 50 lbs. Larger dogs require prior approval. Cats: Cats are not permitted. Exceptions may be made only with prior written approval before booking and may be subject to additional deep-cleaning fees. House Rules: Pets must be crated if left unattended and are not allowed on furniture or linens.
