Looking to unwind & enjoy Lake Life-where weekends begin any day of the week-any season you choose? Here at Buoys UP! you will be able to do just that. Enjoy private access to our newly remodeled 2 bedroom lake house at Lake Koshkonong, WI. Overlook the private road this little gem is located on and enjoy the wonderful lake views and the beautiful sunsets. Stroll down the road for apx. a 2 minute walk to take advantage of the private lake access Buoys UP! offers. This quaint house sleeps up to 6 and has central air and furnace to help make a comfortable atmosphere. WiFi is available throughout the house. Inside Buoys UP! there are different areas to enjoy the lake views. Upon entry, you will need to give a little extra push on the front door as it likes to stick, you will then enter the kitchen area. This fully equipped kitchen has all new appliances and is supplied with about everything you would need to create any type of meal or beverage you would like. In the morning, Buoys UP! invites you to brew yourself some coffee or tea that is provided in the coffee bar. There is a Keurig that makes iced or hot beverages and a basket brewing coffee maker with filters and other coffees available too. Take advantage of the Sunrise's reflection on the lake while sitting at the kitchen table or on the front patio. The refrigerator has an ice machine and water dispenser. There is a gas stove and microwave, but no dishwasher. Salt & Pepper packages, Coffee/Tea, sugar packets and individual creamers as well as dish soap will be supplied. Buoys UP! even has a new gas grill on the patio for when you get that craving for outdoor cooking. A stacking clothes washer & dryer are available for your use. We will supply small containers of laundry supplies for your laundry needs. The living room has a basic couch, 1 pull out couch, and a comfy chair in front of the big picture window where you can enjoy the views of the lake and even some small wildlife activities. Besides all the typical water fowl, you could see the pelicans swim by, Eagles fly overhead and various birds taking advantage of the feeders. There is a Samsung Smart TV that offers Samsung channels, with a DVD player and DVD's available, as well as books and some magazines. There are plenty of movies for all ages. Bring your passwords for Netflix or Hulu or your favorite streaming station. Coming out of the kitchen there is a slope down into the hallway. Taking a left into the hallway, just past the laundry machines, there is a small step up leading into the bathroom foyer area, in here is a double sink vanity and an additional outside door to the side of the house. There is a sliding pocket door to close for privacy for the bathroom with a walk in shower. Shower supplies/toiletries and toilet paper will be provided for your convenience. After enjoying your days adventures, be sure to catch the amazing sunsets and enjoy a bonfire outside on the patio with the fire pit and wood that is provided for you. If the weather does not permit outdoor activities, Buoy's UP! does offer movies, books, puzzles and board games for all ages. At bedtime, tuck yourselves in the cozy beds with soft sheets, blankets and multiple pillows for a good nights sleep. Remember the slope down into the hallway. The master bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, closet, storage bench and a Samsung Smart TV. The 2nd bedroom offers 2 twin beds, dresser, closet and a Samsung Smart TV. Don't forget there is a couch that pulls out to a full size bed. A children's pack & play, infant seat and high chair/booster chair available upon request All supplies provided are to be looked at as a starter kit. There are grocery stores and department stores within 10-20 minutes. You will be provided with your own code to enter the home for self check in and we will still be available to help you at that time if need be . Apx. 237' - apx. 2 minute walk from the house down this private road, you can enjoy private lake access. It may only be 15' of access but as you wade into the lake, you will enjoy the sandy lake bottom, of course with some river rock that traveled in. Unfortunately, right now the sandy area on the shore area washed away with high water in the spring and left behind river rock galore. At this time we have no pier on our shoreline. These are areas we will be working on to create a better lake access. Royce Dallman Boat Landing is in the neighborhood so you will have quick access to launch you water "toys" with only about a 2 minute drive. Need to rent a water toy? Floating Toy Pontoon Rental is abut a 7 min drive and offers rental pontoon boats and wave runners. We do have 2 kayaks to offer, ask us for more detail. Limited access will be provided to the shed by the lake if there is an agreement and a liability agreement signed to use Kayaks. Main closet has access for your needs. The fire extinguisher, first aid kit, broom/dustpan & vacuum are located their with laundry & cleaning supplies up high on the shelf. There is no access to the utility room in the bathroom foyer and one closet by the living room, including the "butler door" on the kitchen side wall. We will be in close proximity of Buoys UP! to help in anyway needed. You will be able to reach us anytime. You are in walking distance to 2 neighborhood bar & grills as well as The Buckhorn Supper Club. There is a park right around the corner from the house. Royce Dallman park/boat landing is 2 blocks away. You will have your own parking in the driveway. There is no parking in the road nor the yard. If you need additional parking for additional vehicles or "water toys", let us know ahead of time so we can make arrangements for you. Royce-Dallman landing is in the neighborhood and easy to get to, you will see this as you come in to Charley Bluff. Buoys UP! is within walking distance to one of the top 10 supper clubs in WI, The Buckhorn Supper Club. You have a quick walk to a bar & grill right on the corner, a walk to a family owned hometown bar & grill around the corner, as well as the neighborhood park just around the corner. Out on the water and you get hungry, thirsty or just looking for lakeside entertainment? There 9 bars you can boat to - including the Buckhorn Supper Club. Boating day or season over, venture about a 10 minute drive for 6 more bar & grills offering food and entertainment as well as a couple fast food places, including the world's largest Culver's or enjoy Cone Zone, an ice cream place in Milton (open during summer hours). Don't forget about the small town dining and shopping around here, they're about 10-20 min. away and well worth the drive. There is a splash pad located in Milton. Couple wineries right in Milton and other wineries and breweries near by ranging from 10-20 mins. away. The Fireside Theatre is apx. 16 mins located in Fort Atkinson. Don't forget about the golf courses nearby as well. Biking and hiking trails between 10-30 mins away. These fun places are in Milton, Edgerton, Newville and Fort Atkinson. Want a more scenic route? There are several more bar & grills, steak houses, entertainment, antiquing and shopping to add to your bucket lists. Traveling for a wedding? Buoys UP! is between 10-30 minutes from 8 different amazing wedding venues. Janesville, Madison and Sun Prairie are all within 15-35 minutes. Be it a family adventure, romantic getaway, or even traveling for work, Buoys UP! is here to provide you a comfortable place to stay with a lot of amenities. Any time of the year, there are plenty of activities and food venues to enjoy during your stay. Winter time on the lake offers ice fishing with some competitions held, have seen motorcycle racing and the planes still flying in on the ice. Remember while relaxing at Buoys UP! watch for the Sunrise's reflection on the lake in the morning and to take advantage of the amazing Sunsets. All of this can be enjoyed on the front patio all while the newly planted grass and plants are popping up or the winter views of the frozen lake. Lake Life-always fresh sometimes frozen.
