The space Welcome to a newly-renovated dream home on two floors, situated on one of Altea's most sought-after streets, in the middle of the historic center's charm. Here you live with your own private terrace, completely without view, and with a spectacular panoramic view of the Mediterranean that few can offer. The home comprises 80 tastefully decorated square meters where modern comfort meets a genuine Mediterranean atmosphere. On the entrance floor, you will be met by an open and social floor plan between the kitchen and living room. The fully-equipped kitchen offers everything you need – fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, stove, coffee maker and fan – perfect for both lazy breakfasts and dinners in good company. There is also AC with both cooling and heating for maximum comfort all year round. Upstairs, you will find the bright and generous bedroom of 18 sqm, equipped with AC, balcony and direct access to the absolute highlight of the home – the amazing terrace. Here the view extends over the sea, the mountains, the whole village and all the way to the iconic Peñón de Ifach in Calpe. Waking up with this view from the bed is an experience in itself. On the intermediate level, there is a fresh bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. The terrace will quickly become your favorite place – perfect for long breakfasts, romantic dinners and quiet evenings at sunset, completely private and undisturbed. The decor is harmoniously tuned in white, bright woods and soft blue tones, inspired by Altea's sky and sea – a calm and elegant environment that enhances the feeling of vacation and relaxation. The iconic church in Altea is only 200 meters away, and around the corner you will find a wide selection of restaurants and bars - close enough for spontaneous enjoyment but without disturbing the peace. Beaches and promenade are about 500 meters away. Guest access Other about the house: Upon your arrival at the house, a welcome pack of Cava, snacks and other things awaits to start an amazing time off in our house. The house is fully equipped with all the things needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has all the essential utensils for cooking breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The bathroom includes toilet paper, towels, hair dryers, soap, shampoo and conditioner. Consumables for approx. 2-3 days are included. There is a washing machine as well as an iron and small ironing board. Beach towels are provided. All our prices include VAT, water, electricity, WIFI and Spanish TV channels. We have a double bed of 160 cm with a double duvet. A microfiber pillow and a down pillow. AC is available in the bedroom as well as in the living room/kitchen. PLEASE NOTICE: Our house is located high up on the hill in Casco Antiguo. Altea is a very beautiful town, but as a tourist, you need to be aware that Casco Antiguo is accessed via many steps and steep, hilly terrain. The roads are one-way, and on many streets, car traffic is not allowed—you can only get around on foot. However, you can drive right up to our house. Please note that the accommodation is only suitable for two adults. Due to stairs, differences in level, and steep passages, the house is not suitable for people with disabilities, older people with reduced mobility, or young children. There is no baby cot or other baby items. One of the rooms in the house is locked and you do not have the disposal of that part of the house, otherwise you have access to the whole house (kitchen/living room, bedroom, terrace and balcony as well as the toilet/bathroom). Our house is alarmed; the alarm is turned off for the duration of your stay when you are a guest. We do not accept pets due to allergy in the family. Since our house is in the Old Town, we do not have a parking space next to the house but you can drive all the way to leave luggage. The streets are narrow and one-way. You can park for free on the streets nearby or at the large public Parking Foietes, about 250 meters from the house. Other things to note When you book our place, you can feel safe as we hold all legal permits that Generalitat Valenciana requires from us landlords. Under Regulation 1513/1959 as well as Regulation 450/1975 and Royal Decree 933/2021, ALL renters shall specify, require and provide the following: • All landlords must provide their license number. • We only have short term rentals, minimum 3 nights and max 10 nights. • We speak three languages, Swedish, Spanish and English. • The house has a first aid kit, fire extinguisher and evacuation plan. • We have the correct house insurance for rental. • We are taxable in Spain and Sweden. • We have air conditioning and electric appliances. • You will reach us 24h during your stay just in case you need help. • For confirmed bookings, we will need the identification details of all the guests who will be staying at the house as we need to register this at SES.hospedajes, the Spanish Ministry of the Interior. We use the Partee web service for this. All landlords must enter their RUA number, unique European rental number. All of these requirements are an effort by the Spanish authorities to reduce the amount of rogue landlords.
