Farm stay in Buckinghamshire

Come and relax in our beautiful farm cottage with a private deck and garden surrounded by amazing rolling countryside. Perfect for spending some special time with your family. You can also book to take a dip in our heated indoor swimming pool which is perfect for all ages. We are a great central spot for visits to London and Oxford and have some lovely attractions within 20mins of us including Waddesdon Manor, Bletchley Park and Whipsnade Zoo. *Outside Sauna and copper bath coming Jan 2025* The space Old Park Farm has been in the family for over 100 years and Alex is the 4th generation to farm the land. We have 500 head of cattle and over 1000 acres of arable land. You will see the cattle in the fields in the summer and in the sheds in the winter (look out for the new born calves in Feb-April time). The Cottage used to be used as a dairy but fell derelict and was renovated in 2018. The cottage made a wonderful family home for us and we welcomed our three boys here. We have now moved across the yard into the farmhouse and would love for other people to experience this special space. We have also renovated 2 other barns on the farm where Beth runs a Physiotherapy and Pilates business. In the Cottage: • Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and shower, one bedroom has a super king bed and the other a king size bed. • One bedroom is downstairs with a king size bed, next to a utility/ bathroom with a shower, toilet, washing machine and tumble drier. • Large dining room for enjoying meals together and a living room with a stunning vaulted ceiling for relaxing in the evenings. • Country kitchen with an Aga to cook on and view across the fields. • Underfloor heating • We have a dedicated desc for working and Super fast 250 MB Fibre internet. • FREE Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime TV. The area • Local attractions include Whipsnade zoo (8 miles), Ascot house (1 mile), Bicester village (18 miles), Bletchley park. • 7 minutes drive from Leighton buzzard train station, which is a 30 minutes direct train to Euston, London. • Milton Keynes is just 20minutes away, and oxford is a 45minute drive. • Easy access to the M40, M25 and M1. • 15 miles from Luton airport. • 26 miles from Harry Potter Studio Guest access Outside • Outdoor eating area and hammock to relax in in the garden, apple trees and well looked after garden with plenty of flowers all year round. This will be for your use only apart from if it is being mowed or the garden attended to. • As well as the cows we also have chickens and a pony. The Outbuildings • As if being in the countryside surrounded by beautiful views isn’t enough to leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated why not treat yourself (or a loved one) to a Massage, or a Yoga or Pilates session in the Wellness hub which is on site (please note it's only open during the week). • You can also take a dip in our heated (32 degrees) indoor swimming pool which is perfect for all ages. This can be booked for £25 an hour via the link we send you when you book.
