Welcome to a clean and comfortable Vancouver home where guests enjoy a friendly atmosphere and excellent access to public transit, downtown, and local colleges and universities. This home is a great fit if you’re new to Vancouver or staying for several months. Many past guests have been students or professionals settling into the city, and the house is set up to make long stays comfortable, simple, and stress-free. The space You’ll have your own bright, private bedroom in a shared main-floor suite, offering a balance of independence and community. Your Room Includes - Queen-size bed - A desk and chair - A closet for your belongings - High-speed fibre optic Wi‑Fi Shared Spaces (Main-Floor Suite): - 2 full bathrooms, cleaned regularly - Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher - Living and dining area - Washer and dryer (detergent provided) - Outdoor patio during summer months The main-floor suite has four bedrooms and two bathrooms, with one guest per bedroom to ensure a comfortable shared living experience. My school-aged son and I live in the lower-floor suite but use both levels of the home. We take pride in maintaining and creating a respectful, welcoming environment for everyone. Location Knight Street & 61st Avenue, Vancouver (V5P 4A5) The home is conveniently located: 15 minutes to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) by car 20 minutes to downtown Vancouver by car Easy access to Hwy 91, Hwy 99, and Richmond Public Transit Getting around is easy, even without a car: Bus #22 (stop directly in front of the house) - To Downtown and VCC–Clark Station - To VCC and UCW (Pender Campus) - To many English language schools (ILSC, ILAC, EF, Kaplan, SSLC, ILIA, CCEL) Bus #430 (2‑minute walk) - To KPU, Richmond–Brighouse Station, Richmond Centre, and Metrotown Station Bus #100 (8‑minute walk) - To Marine Drive Station and 22nd Street Station Langara College: 3 km UBC: 16 km Use Google Maps or TransLink Trip Planner for easy route planning. Other things to note Shared Living This is a shared home with respectful housemates. Please be considerate of others sharing the space. Cleaning - Shared areas are cleaned regularly by the host - Shared areas are professional deep cleaned every two weeks - Guests are expected to keep shared areas tidy by cleaning up after themselves Kitchen Fully equipped with a stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, air fryer, waffle maker, slow cooker, cookware, dishes, oil, spices, and kitchen essentials. Laundry Washer and dryer are available. Detergent and dryer sheets are provided. Guests are expected to promptly remove laundry once finished. No smoking, no parties, and no pets. Location & Noise The house is located on a busy street. This makes public transit very convenient, though some traffic noise should be expected. Parking Please inquire to confirm availability of a dedicated on-site parking space. Free street parking is also available nearby.
