Cottage retreat 3 miles from Hay

At the end of a private lane 3 miles from Hay-on-Wye. Doors open onto the sunny terrace or in winter cosy up with a book on the gallery daybed. For views you can see as far as Pen y Fan and on most days to the Black Mountains. Shelves groan with books and maps. Outside a mud kitchen and treehouse for kids. The interiors - tiles are reclaimed and Spanish, crockery vintage and there are vintage lamps and arm chairs covered with Gujarati blankets. The bedrooms have Molly Mahon and Liberty fabrics. The space Our cottage has three bedrooms. A double downstairs, a double upstairs and the bunk room which can sleep 2 adults in singles or a double bed and 2 children in cool wall mounted bunks. The kitchen dinner is flooded with light and the living room cosy and comfortable. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 showers and a bath. The garden is south facing and large with a dining table, chairs and a large umbrella for sunny days. The views are off the Black Mountains and down the valley to Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in the Brecon Beacons.
