The space The cottage sits on a fantastic location literally on the edge of the hill overlooking the water, we truly believe it’s got a million dollar view. The master bedroom is quite large with beautiful view of the lake, the other two bedrooms in the main house are on the smaller side but each have a double size mattress. Bunkie has 4 twin size beds. Dog and Cranberry Lakes are located in eastern Ontario and are a part of the Rideau Canal - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The lakes are known for the scenic beauty of their shorelines which are typical of the rugged, rocky Canadian Shield of the Frontenac Arch - a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. The combination of natural deep basins and shallow "drowned lands" provides aquatic habitat for a variety of fish, including bass, crappie, pike and splake. From May to October, the canal is open as a 202 km-long navigational waterway for boaters and paddlers. This historic lockage system and UNESCO World Heritage Site, consists of 29 individual locks, and facilitates travel up and down the canal through many remote environments and townsites Guest access Our Property is just over two acres, split in half by a Lane, you have access to the entire property and the large open field across the Lane where you can use it for Sports, kids play structures and trampoline.
