Charming family home

We are two sisters and we rent our pretty family house with a large garden for stays. It is 1 hour and 45 minutes from Paris by car. 5 bright, parquet-floor bedrooms can comfortably accommodate 9-10 people. The two fireplaces in the house, one in the living room, the other in the large kitchen, offer a certain charm to this house tastefully furnished by inveterate bargain hunters! The space The accommodation consists of two rehabilitated and interconnected barns. We pass the gate to arrive in the front garden, a real green setting. We enter the house through a beautiful kitchen and dining room with a large rustic fireplace and tiled floor. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking enthusiasts: with an oven, a gas stove, various robots, a dishwasher, etc. The dishes and objects have been carefully chosen for the place. The room is warm and invites family sharing for good meals by the fire! Adjacent, you will find a nice little single room from which you fall asleep watching the fire slowly go out. Leaving the kitchen, you enter a brick corridor that serves a garden bathroom with bathtub and two sinks as well as a washing machine and dryer. Then toilets and, finally, stairs leading upstairs. On the landing of the first floor: a beautiful drawing table with a large library, then two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The rooms are bright with their large skylights and invite rest and reading. One of the two is equipped with a small single bed, possibly for a child. In the second part of the house, which is joined by a room on the ground floor that serves the garden at the front and back of the house, there is a large living room with a second fireplace, several sofas and armchairs with six windows overlooking the garden. Upstairs, and under the roof, a single bedroom (that can accommodate a second person) then a beautiful double bedroom with a king size bed. We are gradually renovating the house, so in some rooms the paintings are redone and, in others, there is still work to be done! It is also for these small jobs that we rent this large and beautiful house for a reasonable price. Thank you for your patience! The house is surrounded by two large gardens - one in front and one behind - with beautiful trees and plants all planted by our father. In the front garden, two barns and a small house serve as a tool shed, garbage room and storage room. In the surrounding countryside there are fields and forests, rabbits, partridges and deer. So there are some beautiful walks to do! The house is located in the Oise (near Amiens and Beauvais). Amiens is a pretty town with a beautiful cathedral and especially the hortillonages market that can be discovered by embarking on the traditional cornet boats. Near the village, there is also the medieval village of Gerberoy, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France with pretty half-timbered houses and magnificent rose bushes. When we go there, we often take the car for a day on the Opal Coast or in the Marquenterre Park, true jewels of the Hauts de France region! Guest access You'll have access to the entire home
