Description
A kota converted into cozy and warm accommodation. You will stay in the heart of a one-hectare park in the shade of century-old lime trees. Equally close to Dijon, Langres and Besançon, you can enjoy walks or hikes on foot or by bike along the Saône or in the countryside. Dampierre-sur-Salon is a stop on the Via Francigéna. And for enthusiasts, Haute-Saône has a rich medieval heritage to discover. The space We are particularly happy to host you in our kota, and hope that your stay will meet your expectations. "A kota ("hunting lodge" in Sámi languages) is a hexagonal-shaped chalet made of raw wood and half logs of wood found in Finland. It takes the form and functions of canvas goahtis, teepees used by the Sami people in Lapland. Sometimes a refuge against the cold, against wolves and wandering bears, sometimes a fish smokery, it is a multifunctional shelter in which the Sami meet in community to eat, celebrate, sleep around a fireplace located in the middle of the dwelling." As you can see, our kota is not a shelter against wolves or even bears, there are none in Dampierre-sur-Salon. But, as lovers of nature and wood, we wanted to take advantage of this architecture to create an atypical place where you can enjoy a atmosphere of serenity, softness and elegance to relax. We are particularly proud to welcome you, and to let you enjoy a construction that we made with our own hands. Started in September 2021, the kota was delivered to us to assemble in April 2022, and, a year later, we let you enjoy the result. Other things to note We have a closed garage for your bikes or motorcycles
