Experience tranquility while working from home or while vacationing… Good sized kitchen with full size fridge/freezer, wine fridge, stove & dishwasher. Houseboat in safe marina with quiet neighbors. Restaurants, shops & ferry 10 minute walk away. Enjoy the outdoors on the rooftop deck, hike a nearby trail or launch the 2 provided kayaks from the pier. Storage available underneath stairs and large deck box for use. Free street parking nearby The space Living on the water is relaxing and peaceful. Feels like you’re on vacation everyday. Very tranquil! If you work from home, high speed internet WiFi works well both inside and outside on the rooftop deck and front deck. Storage for bags/luggage in storage room under kitchen area. Large dock box includes extra chairs along with life jackets to use while exploring the bay kayaking. Rooftop deck adds additional living space and is an ideal place to lounge, read a book, soak in the sun or enjoy a meal. Guest access Sausalito is a great town to walk around and explore. Stroll along the bays edge past the marinas, get your heart pumping by walking the steep streets/hills... Sausalito is a hiker and biker paradise! Easy all day free street parking available a block away... but a car is not necessary...One can enjoy all Sausalito has to offer by foot or bicycle. Short 10 minute walk to ferry, 5 minute walk to bus stop. Both modes of transportation go to San Francisco. Farmers market on Sundays in Dunphy Park (2 minute walk away) Other things to note Living on the water is an amazing experience. I do like to point out that there are some differences to living on land. The boat has electricity, running fresh water and a flushing toilet. If you are prone to motion or sea sickness this might not be the best fit for you. The boat is secured well to the dock but depending on the wind does rock gently at times..... Another thing to note. The toilet is a marine toilet, therefore only human waste and septic safe, biodegradable toilet paper are allowed to be flushed. It is pumped out by a service every 2 weeks. If there is more than one person staying on the boat (max 2 people) the tank needs to be serviced/emptied weekly. In that case there is an additional charge of $75/month. There is a newly renovated bathroom in the marina building which guests are also welcome to use.
