Room at Slowpoke Farm

Welcome to small farm that is just being born! I have been renting this room to folks doing apprenticeships, travel nurses, med students, Montessori teachers in training and people looking to stay somewhere temporarily while they look for a more permanent home. I live with a family of five from Ecuador and rent two other rooms and I have a medium sized 1 year old puppy. It's a full house but we all work a lot so lots of quiet stretches. But not 100% quiet stretches. The space This room is on the first floor, just off the living room. There's an exit right outside it however I lost the key so I keep it locked and you can come in through the kitchen. Guest access The guest in this room will share a bathroom (with me) and get part of the refrigerator for storing your food. It's a small part - please go food shopping with a list :-). I ask guests to eat in the kitchen (there's two different areas for eating), not in their rooms. In an effort to conserve electricity, you may use the washer and do one load per week in the dryer. In the summer I have an outdoor clothesline (stainless steel) that is big enough for bed linens and in the winter there is an indoor clothes rack available (it's so dry clothes dry in less than 24 hours). The washer and dryer are in my bathroom, so we will coordinate times for you to use them. During your stay I work from home and at another local farm, so I'm pretty available if you need anything. Other things to note If you don't have a car during your stay I will refund you $50/week. If you are renting a car, it's a tight fit for everyone in the driveway, please choose the smallest car you can. I know it's not going to reverse the climate collapse but I appreciate folks who are mindful of sorting their trash and food waste properly. Again, it's not going to reverse climate collapse but I keep the heat between 64 and 68 during the winter, and the AC at 74 during the summer. Lastly, I ask guests to not use the audio on speaker from their phones.
