Beautiful oak tree line streets curve into spanish style homes both large and small. There are tons of streets to walk down, get lost in, bird watch, bike through, and run by. We love this home because we can get to all of the important spots in Miami in less than 15 minutes (except South Beach - thats 20 minutes!). Centrally located, amazing neighbors, and so quiet you can hear the birds chirping as you work or read a book. Our place is in north Coral Gables south of 8th street and west of LeJeune. We are 5 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes to the 836, and 10 minutes to the FL Turnpike. We are 2 miles away from the Metro and 1 mile from downtown Coral Gables where you can catch a free trolley to get you to the Metro station and take you to Downtown Miami and Brickell. There is a nearby bike shop where you can rent bicycles for your stay. Tons of great biking, running, and walking routes. I would know - I run 3 times a week around here and walk my dog and baby every day (both at morning and at night) through our gorgeous tree lined streets.
