8 Buck camp: Bring your RV or tent and escape to the wilderness with amazing views of starry nights, full moon, La Plata Mountains, and the New Mexico foothills. The west side of our 37 acres borders 400 acres of BLM land offering wildlife viewing, hiking, and mountain biking. Fishing streams, rivers, and amazing lakes are all close by: Lake Vallecito 10 miles, Vallecito Creek trail 12 miles, Lemon Reservoir 12 miles, Lake Nighthorse 16 miles, Animas River walk 15 miles away. The space This is a campsite. We provide a level spot for an RV or tent. A picnic table, fire pit, and chairs in the wilderness. Wildlife could walk by any moment. There is an outhouse and water is available on the property. Enjoy camping off-the-grid in the countryside of the La Plata wilderness. Guest access You can hike on over 10 trails on our 37 acres.
