Tellico Plains Inn, Boutique Hotel, The Babcock

The Babcock Room is the largest room in the entire Inn, and the only room on the first floor. The Babcock Room has a king bed and a futon. There is also an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in tile shower. The room has its own ductless heating and cooling unit, 55" smart TV, console/desk and chairs, k-cup coffee machine and a mini fridge. Although rehabbed in 2023, The Tellico Plains Inn was originally established in 1916 and is in the heart of Tellico Plains and the start of the Cherohala Skyway. The space The Babcock Room has a king bed and a futon for sleeping needs of up to four guests. There is also an en suite bathroom with a walk-in tile shower. The room also has its own ductless heating and cooling unit, 55" smart TV, console/desk with two chairs, k-cup coffee machine and a mini fridge. It is the largest room in the entire Inn, and the only room on the first floor. If you need additional rooms for your entire party, friends, and family please be sure to ask about availability. The Inn is a great spot for social get togethers, or any enthusiast group gathering to keep everyone under one roof! We hope you will enjoy the modern flare and updates to this 100+ year old Inn. We tried to salvage its character, keeping the original rustic wood floors, wainscoting, and dental trim. Be sure to take some time to relax on the front porch or in the lobby and view some historic photos of the Inn and Tellico Plains. Guest access Guests have access to the lobby featuring sitting areas, electric fireplace, a Keurig coffee station, microwave, and small ice machine, wrap around porch, rocking chairs, and the entire grounds of the Inn. We offer guests a shared office space on the second floor on a first come first serve basis. The office space has two dedicated workspaces which include desks, chairs, printer/scanner/copier, etc. If you know you will want to use the office space during your stay, it is best to inform the host in advance of your stay. Other things to note Guests are provided with 6 bath towels, 6 hand towels, 6 wash cloths, 2 full rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, starter set of K-cups, cream and sweetener packets, and disposable coffee cups.
