Large A-frame in Running Springs

Be our guest at Chalet Rue, the newly renovated cozy and stylish A-frame cabin large enough for groups of family and friends to create lasting memories. This bright and spacious 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom home, with 3 wood burning fireplaces, 2 large decks and forest views, is peacefully nestled amongst the tree tops on a quiet cul-de-sac in beautiful Running Springs, between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, where you'll find unlimited activities year round. The space BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS There are 5 tastefully decorated bedrooms including the office bedroom with a memory foam sofa sleeper; There are 2 Cal King beds, 2 Queen beds, one full size sofa sleeper and one twin futon. The house can accommodate 11 guests comfortably. All bedrooms, except office, have a 60+" Smart TV and electric or wood burning fireplace, 2 bedrooms have ensuite bathroom with shower, and 2 have complete work stations with monitors and hub (just plug into the hub and you're ready to go)! There is also a guest bathroom with full size tub. Please note, one bedroom has a separate entrance off the main house and is accessed from back yard, down deck stairs. Unfortunately, there is no bathroom at this time in this bedroom, so guests would need to use main house bathrooms. There is also a LAUNDRY ROOM with lots of storage space and full size washer and dryer. I also provide a folding crib and Pac n play. KITCHEN & DINING ROOM Enjoy beautiful views in the large cozy A-frame dining room with wood burning stove, seating for 8 and a breakfast bar that opens to kitchen with new appliances, including dishwasher and gas stove, plus many amenities such as KEURIG K-Café® Single Serve Coffee Latte & Cappuccino Maker, toaster oven, blender, rice maker and more! There is a coffee station where starter supply of coffee pods and flavored syrups are provided. I also provide a small variety of spices. OUTDOORS There is one narrow deck in front of the house, one small deck off the master bedroom and 2 large decks off the back (living room and dining room). The large deck off the living room has a firepit table and seating for 10 and is perfect for sunset gatherings. The large deck off the dining room has a gas grill, and dining table for 10. Running Springs is in the San Bernardino Mountains, and is a major gateway to the mountain communities of Lake Arrowhead, Arrowbear, Green Valley Lake, and Big Bear, and is the closest community to Snow Valley Mountain Resort. Running Springs has an elevation of 6,030 feet and offers year-round activities such as skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing, boating, off-roading, and biking... just to name a few.
