A mix of vintage charm & contemporary/clean with leather couches, hardwood & tile floors. This is a 2 bdrm (king & queen) ranch with a recreational rm/"3rd" bdrm (queen, modern futon, & other options) in the walkout basement to the Mill Pond. It is in walking distance of downtown Plymouth, Aquatic Center & County Fair Grounds (summer races/Sept. County Fair). It is close to Road America/Elkhart Lake, Kohler, Bookworm Gardens/Sheboygan, golf courses, Kettle Moraine, Sheboygan Marsh & much more. The house is tidy and uncluttered of personal belongings as it is exclusively used as a bnb. The house and backyard have a stunning view of the 7-acre Plymouth Mill Pond (Mullet River) and has a vintage/contemporary feel with white walls and hardwood floors upstairs with the 2 main floor bedrooms, living room & dining room. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances with a dishwasher and gas stove. The main floor bathroom has a shower/tub combo. The walkout basement has two doors leading to a sweeping backyard (patio/charcoal grill) and has ceramic tiled floors in the recreational room/3rd bedroom. The 2nd bathroom (shower/toilet/sink) is in the laundry room and the shower is unconventional with a wrap around shower curtain. The house is fully stocked with hopefully everything you need from two LG Smart TVs (living room and 3rd bedroom/recreational room), 6 smoke detectors (3 combo carbon monoxide), 8 luggage racks, barbecue, a toddler high chair, to a game of horseshoes, a football, a basketball, board games (including Road America Monopoly), 2 decks of cards, 2 pairs of snow shoes, and a fishing rod. If you need an EV charger, let us know in advance and we will put one in. It is something we are considering but will only do if there is an actual need. It is clean and tidy and very relaxing. Centrally located, it is a short walk or bike ride to historic downtown Plymouth, and the Sheboygan Country Fair Grounds and the Plank Road Trail. It is close to many parks like Plymouth's City and Huson Parks, Sheboygan Marsh/Kettle Moraine State Park/Kohler-Andrae State Park, races at Road America and the County Fair grounds, Kohler (Kohler Design Museum), Sheboygan (Bookworm Gardens/Blue Harbor Water Park, Above & Beyond Children's Museum, Weil Center of the Performing Arts, John Michael Kohler Arts Center &, its newest addition, the Art Preserve), and of course Lake Michigan. The guests have exclusive access to the entire house and garden which includes a small patio with a charcoal grill, shed, a one car garage, and 1 driveway parking space in the winter. If winter parking is an issue the property manager has parking next door available. In the non-winter months, it has access to ample parking on the city street. There are 2 kayaks, a canoe and a dock next door that can be used with the signing of a release. During the warmer months, there is also a three-season room that can be used for outdoor protected dining or can be used as a extra bedroom for larger group sizes or anyone who wants to sleep almost outside. It has large screened in windows on three sides and has a nice view of the Mill Pond and is pleasant to sleep almost in nature. Please indicate if that is requested so it can be prepared appropriately. I am usually available and live next door. I manage properties and I am a bookkeeper. The neighborhood is established and has sidewalks and is close to parks, downtown (art center, historical society museum & cheese museum, cafes & restaurants, bars & pubs, clothing & music & antique stores, and a spice store), the library and post office, County Fair Grounds, the Outdoor Aquatic Center & the City Park/Band Shell (summers have live music on Thursday nights), and the house is located directly on the Mill Pond a short walk to pedestrian bridge that you can go across it for a lovely view. You can borrow 2 kayaks and a canoe from the property manager next door if you sign a release and you can walk three doors down and play basketball at the Riverview Youth Center's court and if that is being used go next door to the Riverview School basketball court and playground. We are also a short walk to a pedestrian bridge so you can walk across the Mill Pond and enjoy. You can walk, bike, or drive. It is a short walk to Plymouth's downtown which has an art center, cheese museum, historical museum, antique stores, a local brew pub (Plymouth Brewing Company), and restaurants including an Irish pub and Dino's -- a pizza and sub place that is a local favorite as well as the County Fair Grounds and the Plymouth's Outdoor Aquatic Center and Band Shell (Thursday night live music in the summer). It is also close to the Old Plank Road Trail for walking or biking or snow mobiling. It is less than a 10 minutes drive to Road America/Elkhart Lake, Johnsonville, Sheboygan Falls, 15 minutes to Kohler, and 20 minutes to Sheboygan, and 30 minutes to Fon du Lac. It is close to the Kettle Moraine State Forest and Sheboygan Marsh for visiting, hunting, fishing, hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. There are lots of golf courses in the area (including Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run), and historical sites such as the Old Wade House and Henshel's Indian Mound Museum and Trout Farm. You can visit the Kohler Design Center in Kohler. There are also a children's botanical garden Bookworm Gardens, a children's museum Above & Beyond, water park Blue Harbor Water Park and art museums John Michael Koher Art Center and its new location the Art Preserve (close to Bookworm Gardens) in Sheboygan. Please note: although there are only four beds listed, the manager next door might be able to provide other floor mattress/cot options. Please contact. Please note: while you can canoe and kayak on the Mill Pond it is not suitable for swimming. Although fishing can be done, it is not the best place to fish in the area. Fish include Carp, Panfish, Bass, and Northern Pike. The dock next door may be used for fishing or kayak/canoe launching (we have 1 canoe and 2 kayaks for use) if you talk to the property manager and make arrangements and sign a release. There is also a fishing dock by the dam near the downtown in walking distance and a kayak launch just north of the property for easier launching. We are also just a short walk to a pedestrian bridge (to the north). Please note: On Saturday nights it does get noisy because the dirt track races are just on the other side of the Pond at the Sheboygan County Fair Grounds and because we are directly on the Mill Pond sometimes there is goose poop in the backygard lawn closer to the actual Pond. Please note: the rates go down in the off season and there are discounts for long term stays. Please contact for more details.
