The town dates back to the 4th-Century BC and is packed with history. This stretch of coast is known for its pristine beaches and sparkling sea. It is an ideal combination of history, culture and beach life. Down the coast, visitors will find the town of Monopoli (15 minutes), one of Italy’s hidden gems. Known for its lively bars and nightlife, the town’s cathedral and the Castello di Carlo are also worth visiting. 
Away from the coast, Alberobello, (35 minutes) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as one of the centres of Italy’s Slow Food Movement. The town is a must-see.
