Summer Garden Studio - Greek village location

A charming self-contained, detached studio, complete with private walled garden, in the narrow streets of the traditional village of Charakopio, near Koroni. The perfect location for a couple, or a single traveler, looking for a relaxing break in the heart of an authentic Greek village. Only a short stroll to the bakery, several cafes, general stores, tavernas and bus stop. It's a 10 minute drive/25 minute walk to the closest beach and only 4.5km from Koroni. The space The highlight of this cosy little studio is the private walled garden. The shaded dining table, banquettes and pergola, make the garden an outdoor living, dining and lounging space during the summer months. We recently installed an outdoor shower under the orange tree for after-beach showering. All windows and doors are fitted with mosquito nets and there is air conditioning, a ceiling fan plus a freestanding fan for high summer. For the cooler months there are cosy duvets and electric heaters. Your hosts are always happy to share local information if you would like it. Guest access Guests have use of the detached 30sq metre studio accommodation, as well as sole use of the attached walled garden. Other things to note This property is not suitable for infants/children or for dogs - sorry. Parking: As the village streets are narrow, there is no guest parking space at the studio but we are only about 160 metres from the village car park. You will be met here on arrival and transported to the studio with your luggage. It's about a two minute drive. You can safely leave your hire car in the car park for the duration of your stay. Environment Taxes: *We have now updated our listing to include the Tourist Environment taxes recently imposed by the Greek Government. Every visitor to Greece now has to pay this tax - either at the time of booking, or on arrival at the property. The amount of tax payable for our studio varies between €2 and €8 per night, according to the season. This is the amount payable for the property, not per person. You will see the tax listed on your booking. Due to legal restrictions in Greece on the use of BBQ's in relation to wildfires, we are sorry but BBQ use in our garden is no longer permitted. Walking/Mobility Difficulties: As there is one step at the entrance of the studio, one step up to the bathroom from the living/bedroom and two steps up to the garden, the studio is not ideal for anyone with severe walking/mobilities difficulties.
