Overnighter at The Creel Yard

Relax in our unique twin bed Overnighter pods. Enjoy a quirky alternative to hotels, BnBs or your tent. Access to our well-equipped shared kitchen/dining and bathroom facilities. Kallin Harbour, famous for wildlife boat tours and delicious seafood is nearby. The Heb Way Cycle/Walking Routes are 3 miles distant. A perfect base for exploring Uist or venturing further afield with day trips to Harris or Barra. Discounts are applied for solo travellers, longer stays, and weekly bookings. The space Our Overnighter pods are simple, calm, and uncluttered, designed and built to withstand Hebridean weather while keeping you warm and dry. Though listed as huts, they offer so much more. Each has two comfortable single beds in two co-joined rooms separated by a blackout curtain. They are fully insulated, have electric lighting, and lots of sockets for devices/ebike charging. There is a UPC door with window, but once the blackout curtain is drawn it is very dark and quiet - In summer we have up to 20 hours of daylight so you will always sleep well. The pod is not en-suite. Guest access Our well-equipped communal kitchen, dining area, and bathrooms are open 24/7. Bedding and towels are included, and there’s free on-site parking. Laundry facilities are available for a small fee, and Wi-Fi is provided to the whole site. During your stay I live on site and am usually about in the morning or late afternoon. If I miss you, I’ll probably catch you the next morning, or you can give me a call. All the details you need for check-in are included in our automated welcome messages. We also provide directions and information on local shops, supermarkets, and places to eat. I’m happy to share any additional information or advice you might need. Other things to note Our Overnighter pods are about 10m from our communal building. The communal building is accessible with either a ramp or steps. There are steps to access the Overnighter pods.
