Join us for a life transforming adventure where less is truly more. The space Our 35 hectares island consists of only 1 bungalow for rent, staff quoters and a small permaculture farm. The bungalow for rent is a 2 story open bamboo structure on top of a large rock with stunning views over the lagoon. Thanks to its natural airflow, there is no need for air conditioning, instead you will feel the closeness of nature while still protected from the elements. Ground floor: half is fully screened-in with a discreet mosquito netting and super king size bed, the other half is open with hammocks and a large comfy beanbag. Yoga mats and stretch bands are at your free disposal. Top floor: a cosy hideaway with double bed floor mattress and mosquito netting, hammock and an unforgettable view. We have solar power and internet access on this island. Our bungalow for rent has its own solar power system and wifi at whatever speed a 4G connection provides in this area. A private composting toilet and outdoor shower are right next to the bungalow. There is a completely private sun bathing area behind the bungalow. For those who are comfortable on the rock, a natural rock indentation is providing hot water for showering in the afternoon of a sunny day. Further outdoor shower and composting toilet are close to the beach. A food hut on the beach is an additional wonderful hangout space and perfect to enjoy your meals. Guest access Guests can enjoy the entire island. Privacy and peace guaranteed. There are a few trails around and across the to explore the island and we have canoes and a dinghy at your disposal to explore the lagoon and surrounding islands. Other things to note Ecosymbiosis is about conserving nature while integrating people in non destructive manner. It is an ecotourism project based on core principles such as low impact living, sustainability and minimalism. The goal is to allow guests to fully enjoy and emerge into the natural setting with the lowest possible footprint as to not destroy this natural paradise. Therefore, please only bring the essentials and stay within our no trace tourism policy. No worries, we will teach you how it works. Health and wellbeing is the 2nd pillar of this project. Daily yoga is included. Massages, health and nutritional counseling are available at an additional fee. Since there are neither stores nor restaurants on the island, 3 simple meals per day are included in your island stay: Enjoy our breakfast buffet with fresh coconut and fresh local fruits. Chose per your liking from our lunch and dinner menu with options ranging from raw food, vegan or paleo style meals or local fisherman style dishes. Please inform us about your dietary preference in advance so that we can have the right foods ready for you when you arrive. For sustainability reasons and since health and well-being of our guests is our primary concern, we are preparing all our foods from local primary food sources avoiding pre-packaged and hyper processed foods.
