Additionally, the majestic Grand Mesa, the world's largest flat-topped mountain, offers a playground for outdoor enthusiasts with its pristine lakes, hiking trails, and scenic beauty. Within 30 minutes, indulge in hunting, skiing, hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, sledding, snowshoeing, birdwatching, climbing, four-wheeling, and fruit-picking. Booking, finding, and staying here is easy. As a long-time Superhost, I've automated much of the communications and instructions for a smooth stay. Your good night's sleep is a priority with supremely comfortable bedding and a peaceful setting. Prepare meals with ease in the well-equipped kitchen, which includes a two-burner stove, toaster oven, and microwave. The coffee and tea station is stocked, and kitchen essentials are provided. The bathroom offers full-sized amenities, including a fabulous shower with instant hot water. Stay connected with fast and reliable WiFi, perfect for streaming and remote work. Take a short walk to the cliff's edge for stunning views of the Gunnison River and wildlife sightings. Nearby, explore walks down the draw and along the old canal road. Pets are welcome with a one-time fee. Please mention your pet in your initial message. Note that pets with uncontrollable drooling, shedding, barking, or bathroom issues are not suitable for this space. Delta, Hotchkiss, Paonia and Cedaredge are each 10-30 minutes away and offer a variety of dining options, from fast food to farm-fresh produce in the summer. Wineries in the area offer tastings and good food menus. Feel free to smoke marijuana or cigs outside. Cedaredge has the two local recreational dispensaries. The Sunflower Cottage welcomes everyone, including LGBTQ+ individuals, people of all races, religions, ethnicities, and political beliefs. This is a labor of love. Unfortunately, uncontrollable droolers, barkers, shedders or property destroyers are not welcomed guests. Please announce your pet in your messaging. FIRES- Colorado experiences ever increasingly dangerous wildfire seasons. We have fire pits for your enjoyment. We also have periodic fire bans. Please inquire if you'd like to have a fire. SMOKING- Marijuana is legal and allowed on the property. All smoking must be done outside!
