Marriott’s Timber Lodge in South Lake Tahoe is a premier mountain resort next to Heavenly Gondola and Heavenly Village with excellent dining, shopping, and entertainment including a cinema, ice skating rink, mini-golf, and live music venues. Hike up dozens of trails by Emerald Bay and enjoy scenic views of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Enjoy water sports including jet skis, kayaks, and paddle boards. Our two bedroom villa is spacious enough to accommodate up to eight guests comfortably. In the primary bedroom you’ll find a king size bed, TV with premium channels, and a large ensuite bathroom. The primary bathroom consists of an oversized tub, dual vanities, and a walk-in shower. In the guest bedroom you will find another king bed, a sitting area with pullout sofa, dining area for 2, TV with premium channels, and ensuite bathroom. The guest bathroom comes with a combination tub and shower and a single vanity. The main living and dining area has a pullout sofa, TV, DVD player, fireplace, and table for six guests. Overlooking this is the full kitchen with everything you need to cook a home cooked meal, minus the food. There is a full refrigerator, conventional oven, stove, microwave, dishes, glasses, and utensils. Off the kitchen is a washer and dryer as well. Units are assigned at check-in, pictures are representative of unit, décor, layout and room view may vary. Guest access Upon Arrival, please go to the front desk to check-in. A government issued photo ID and credit card are required when checking in. Other things to note Upon booking, you will be asked to verify your full name and address matching your ID. You will be asked for your email address for the purpose of receiving your resort issued confirmation. Please note, Airbnb confirmations will not be accepted at check-in. Your ID will be required at check-in for verification purposes along with a credit card for a refundable security deposit. State tax and tourism fee of approximately $38.50 will be applied at check-in (subject to change). The resort does not offer self-parking or parking for recreational vehicles or trailers. Valet parking only, daily fee of $35/US dollars. No: self-park, boats, RV’s, trailers, vehicles over 7’ 2”. Four electric car charging stations are available for a fee. Off-site parking is available for a fee. Construction: The resort is undergoing roof enhancements that will occur from Mar. 1, 2026 to Nov. 30, 2026​​​​​​​. Please anticipate construction noise and obstructed views during this time.​​​​​​​ Cashless Resort: Limited cash is accepted at the Front Desk. Credit cards and room charges are the only acceptable forms of payment at other locations. An ID and credit card are required at check-in for a refundable security deposit. Housekeeping Services available upon request for a fee.
