The courtyard turret is part of a building built in 1878, as you can see carved on the stones of the external door, with the initials R.B, Raffaele Bianco. The Bianco were of Calabrian origins, from Ravello, and came to Monteroduni to sell copper. At the time, copper was worked in the cellars. One of the daughters married a Lombardi so part of the building, today called the Turret on the courtyard, became the property of the Lombards.
