The stunning Mohonk Reserve is just a mere 10-minute drive away, offering you easy access to its breathtaking trails. The renowned Minnewaska State Park is a quick 15-minute drive from our retreat. The living area welcomes you with cozy sofas adorned with soft throw blankets, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation. The skylight above becomes a portal to the stars after sunset, offering an unparalleled stargazing experience from the comfort of the indoors. Skylight Stargazing: Lie back and gaze at the constellations through the skylight, immersing yourself in the magic of the night sky without stepping outside. Creek View: Immerse yourself in the soothing sounds of the nearby creek as you relax on the deck, offering a calming backdrop for your escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Please note that the path leading to the creek from the deck is security-locked and strictly prohibited for safety reasons. Private Hot Tub: Indulge in a luxurious soak in the saltwater hot tub, with a front-row seat to the beauty of nature as you bask in its warm embrace. Saltwater systems use a process called electrolysis to convert salt into chlorine. This means you enjoy the benefits of chlorine without the harsh odor and taste, ensuring crystal-clear, pure water. The saltwater is much gentler on your skin and eyes. Outdoor Firepit: Gather around the crackling flames of the outdoor firepit with your friends and loved ones, sharing stories and creating lasting memories in the cozy glow. Pet-Friendly We understand that your furry companions are part of your family, and we’re delighted to welcome up to two dogs to our pet-friendly retreat. A cleaning fee of $150 will be charged to ensure the comfort and cleanliness of all our guests during and after your stay. Please contact the host for pet pre-approval. We kindly ask that you help us maintain cleanliness by keeping pets off furniture and beds. Bedrooms & Bathrooms With three bedrooms and three bathrooms (2 King beds and 1 Queen bed), our retreat accommodates groups of friends or families with ease. Each bedroom has been carefully curated for your comfort, inviting you to unwind after a day of exploration. Guests have access to the entire property except for the basement as it is used for storage. - Please note during the winter month, the road lead up to the house might be slippery, so a four-wheel drive car is recommended for your own safety. - Please be aware that bugs are inevitable during your stay, given the natural surroundings. - Occasionally, landscaping and pest control professionals will visit the property to ensure your comfort and the maintenance of our serene environment. - For security purposes, video cameras are present in designated outdoor areas of the property **Please review and acknowledge the house rules including additional rules to ensure a harmonious experience for all our guests. By booking our tranquil upstate New York retreat, you acknowledge and agree to the following indemnity clause: You agree to indemnify and hold the property owner harmless from any and all claims, actions, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, expenses, and costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or in connection with your stay at our property. You further understand and acknowledge that the property owner will not be responsible for personal injuries, accidents, theft, or damages to personal property that may occur during your stay. You agree to take full responsibility for your own safety and the safety of your companions during your time on the property.
