Spacious and Beautiful 2,500 sq ft 5 star Cabin that sleeps 10! SKI SEASON IS HERE! We are 14 min away from Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, where the roads are privately plowed by Dodge! Enjoy Ski Season even during Fresh Powder! We are at the top of the mountain so the drive to the resort is an easy straight to DodgeRidge Rd. The cabin's deck overlooks a peaceful Forested Ridge where you will enjoy Privacy. The cabin House in the Forest! Reserve your snow stay before it is gone! The space CABIN LIVING WOOD For your convenience, we keep wood at the cabin, dry and stored in the garage. To keep it replenished for all guests, if you use it, we charge $10 per 8 pieces. Please let the host know if you use the cabins wood so we can collect the wood replenishment fee. We do not provide kindling wood or fire starter. Please bring your own. You may bring your own wood too. THE LIVING ROOM: The living room has a stunning wall of windows shining in the natural light and spectacular views of the grand Sierra Pines. It allows the outdoors to comes in. Light up a warm fire for those colder mountain nights! It is the perfect spot to relax and unwind in this "retreat" like getaway!! We have a total of 4 folding chairs and a card table stored under the queen bed, located on the main level. It can be used as an extra dining area, perhaps the "Kids Table" or an adult card playing table! THE KITCHEN: For the cook, the open kitchen is filled with a lot of cooking tools, including a chefs favorite: A GAS stove! There's full sized appliances and everything you would need to cook a special meal or bake some sweet treats! There is a dining table with an additional chairs nearby. Two bar seats on the island make this a perfect spot to grab a morning bite to eat. Dining Alfresco is always another choice, particularly during the summer, and fall months! Bon Appetit! THE COFFEE BAR: There are TWO coffee makers, one is a pot brew and the other is a Keurig Coffee maker. Bring your favorite K cup pods, we provide fresh coffee grounds. We store extra in the freezer too. There's tea and cocoa along with coffee condiments! THE LOFT: There's a video game Play Station console with a variety of video games and a DVD Player with loads of DVD's. The kids will enjoy their own private hangout spot with a spacious lounging couch and two built in twin beds. THE BEDROOMS: Relax in a spacious entry level bedroom with a king-sized bed. There is a second entry level bedroom with a queen bed equally as relaxing. The master ensuite is located downstairs and has its own separate exterior entrance. Enjoy a good night's rest on a comfortable king sized bed, with a spacious couch that pulls out to full sized sofa bed. Other amentities include a mini book library, a DVD player, a video game console, and a private deck with private exterior access. Enjoy sitting on the deck in the morning and gazing at the forest. THE BATHROOMS: There are two full bathrooms. One is on the entry level, and a second one downstairs. THE INDOOR ENTERTAINMENT: There are two large flat screen TVs and a Nintendo and PlayStation console, so you can get your game on! For book lovers, there is a "Free Little Library" at the cabin. "Need a book? Take one. Have a book? Leave one." Not only is it super cute, it has a lot of different book options. We have plenty of board games, puzzles, and playing cards, too! THE OUTDOOR FUN: For outdoor entertainment, there is a spacious deck, overlooking a forest ridge! There is a propane BBQ grill! Currently, there's propane, but you may have to fill it if it runs out. There are refills a few minutes away at the gas station store. There are plenty of deck chairs, a patio table and umbrellas the you can move around. Also, there's a horse shoe pit on the forest floor sure to bring your group loads of fun! For the car enthusiast, there is a two car garage for you to use to keep your car enclosed and clean! This amazing cabin is great for family gatherings, friend reunions, a getaway baby shower, a bridal shower, or special family celebrations! It helps to know what you do and do not need to bring ☆☆☆ Guest access You will have exclusive access to the entire home. Please note that there is a forest area beyond the property line behind the house that is privately owned forest land. Please do not trespass. Other things to note To prevent wild fires, we do not allow exterior fires. Fireworks are never allowed. The WIFI box Netgear, is located in the kitchen. If it is off, you will not have WIFI. If WIFI isn't working, please make sure it is on and plugged in. It has to be charged to work. This is a 10 person Cabin and any guests, including children and infants must be part of the 10 guests. Any guests over 10, must be pre-approved, including infants and children. If we allow extra guests, including infants and children, there will be an extra fee added that is already pre-determined to be $75 per day, per extra guests. We are aware Airbnb has their own rule regarding allowing infants and children to stay for free, but our own policy over-rides their policy. We want your stay to be safe and comfortable as possible. We limit the stay to 10 for this reason. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. The washer and dryer are only available for guests staying 5 or more days. Otherwise, it will be locked up. If you have concerns, please feel free to discuss this with me prior to your arrival. I can have it unlocked before arrival if you feel you will need it. For your convenience, we have firewood at the cabin. There is a $10 fee for a bundle of 8 pieces. Please let me know if you used the wood bundles and how many at the end of your stay, and I will request the fee via Airbnb. This helps with the cost of replenishing the wood. If you bring a dog with you, it must be listed at the time of booking. If a guest shows up with a dog, you must inform me of the pets arrival. We charge $150 for up to two pets max for the extra cleaning. Sorry no cats allowed. SA and ESA stay free per CA State Law and we will abide by the CA laws regarding those types of animals. Check out does not require any cleaning, but it does require minimal duties. We do require you to put all garbage inside the chest can located in the garage. Please keep recycling in its own bag. Recycle includes ONLY glass/aluminum/and cardboard. Everything else MUST go in the garbage in a tightly sealed bag by tying the bag before placing in the trash chest. Please don't forget to turn off all lights and heating. Close all windows, and please lock all doors when you check out. Also, don't forget to empty out the refrigerator of items you brought, including unopened items. Also, please wash your dishes. There's a dishwasher to aid you in washing them prior to check-out. Early check-in may be available at no extra fee. Please ask if needed. Late checkout may be available for an extra fee of $80 up to 3:30 pm. Otherwise, if you're running late loading up the car, just message or text me to make me aware so I can communicate with the cleaner. There are three grocery stores within 5-10 minutes from the cabin. All of them have easy off highway access: - The Cold Springs Market and gas station now serve hot food and breakfast burritos. - The Pinecrest General Store has meat, fruit, vegetables, cold cuts, frozen food, bread, desserts, etc.. with a great selection of wine and beer. - Strawberry General Store, which has items most grocery stores do not stock, such as snow boots in the winter and fresh hot chili beans and cornbread, fresh baked bread, various flavors of fudge, and pies! Yum! - I would be remiss if I didn't mention our fabulous local restaurants such as Mia's. They make the best gourmet style pizza, delicious pasta, French Dip Sandwich's, salads, and much more, including delicious deserts and cake - The Strawberry Inn has a sit-down restaurant indoors and outdoors they have pavilion seating overlooking the roaring Stanislas River for a soothing dining experience. They have delicious pizza and many other delicious food options! There's a pool table if you want to play a game of pool. Also, they have an extensive bar selection saloon style! All in a family like atmosphere.
