It is just a few paces from the town centre with all its fabulous amenities and easy walking distance from the magnificent Bowes Museum and the Castle itself. The walled garden is the ideal place to enjoy the warm Summer evenings and comes equipped with a barbeque. Tucked away down one of one of Barnard Castles historic 'Yards' Waterloo Cottage is in an ideal location to explore all that this lovely area has to offer The space The spacious kitchen comes complete with a good sized table and four chairs, a dishwasher, oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, a separate freezer, microwave, coffee machine and small TV. The lounge has an L shaped sofa, TV etc and a door leading to the courtyard garden. The main bedroom is tastefully decorated with co-ordinating curtains and cushions, a king sized bed, dressing table, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers and a hair dryers for your use. The second bedroom is a spacious single with a walk in wardrobe. The bathroom has a three piece suite with an over bath shower. The enclosed walled garden is completely private and is a lovely suntrap with outside seating and a barbeque. Guest access Access to the whole cottage is via the key in the key safe. The four digit code will be forwarded to you a few days before your arrival date. Other things to note Our cottage is ideally placed for accessing all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants that Barnard Castle has to offer. Also, the wonderful Bowes Museum, the Castle and the River Tees are only a short stroll away.
