Canoe & rowboat available. Relax on a hammock in the chill area beside the water, with privacy from neighbours. 10 mins from town with bakery, famous Kawartha Dairy ice-cream & restaurants. The space Beautiful wood finishing throughout give this cottage a lovely rustic and cozy feel. 4 bedrooms (one with bunk bed) all with forest views, 2 bathrooms (including one ensuite) + private indoor hot tub. Open concept kitchen, dining & living room area with lake views and 4 sliding doors that lead out to the large deck along the whole front of the cottage. Great for outdoor dinning, BBQ, relaxing, and sunbathing. Covered portion of the deck area is great to BBQ or sit and enjoy the outdoors even when its raining. Screened-in Porch area has views of the lake and forest with foosball/air hockey table & couch. Office/Den is a quiet room in the basement with with lake views, desk, couch, TV & media system. Ping pong table also located in the basement. 2 Outdoor dining areas: propane BBQ, seating and tables located on the deck outside the kitchen & picnic table beside the lake chill area. Swimming access through either the gradually sloped sand beach bottom or by the wooden stairs in the larger dock area. Lakeside front yard is a large enough flat grassy area to play badminton or other fun outdoor games. Fishing can be done simply off the large dock for kids (sunfish and rock bass) or out in the lake for for the bigger fish (bass, perch and some pickerel). Guest access Access everywhere except basement (where only the door to outside, ping pong table & Office/Den room is available) as the rest of the basement is unfinished, unusable and therefore not included in the price of the rental. Please don't use the indoor wood fireplaces as they will smoke inside the cottage. Other things to note Other materials available: variety of sizes of canoe paddles, adult life jackets (no children's life jackets), miscellaneous water/float toys, various sand toys, badminton rackets, various other outdoor & indoor toys/games/puzzles. Lots of books, DVDs and VHS movies. TV & media systems (DVD & VCR) in living room and also in Den room. Living room system also has open HDMI connector, radio & surround sound.
