Washing machine and drier is in a shared entry way in front of the apartment. The farm is 2,6 km from the town of Tálknafjörður. There is a nice restaurant in Tálknafjörður and a grocery store. The local swimming pool is 3,7 km away and „Pollurinn“ 7 km (free natural tubs and open 24/7). This is a perfect location to take many great daytrips to scenic locations such as Látrabjarg cliff (72 km), Raudisandur beach (44 km) , Dynjandi, the biggest waterfall in westfjords (74 km). The apartment is located about 80 meters from the sea and it is possible to take a nice walk on the beach. Since the apartment is at a farm it is possible to take a look at the life of the farm most of the times, depending of the time of year.
