Offering superb facilities over one floor, this superb hideaway is an ideal base for an explorative family, or for a romantic getaway. Enter through the main door of the The Old School House into the well-equipped kitchen overlooking the front of the property, and follow the hallway to the spacious sitting room with dining area comfortably seating four guests. There's a king-size master bedroom with en suite shower room, and a double bed in bedroom two. These rooms are served by a family bathroom boasting a freestanding bath and shower, all tastefully decorated to make you feel at home whilst enjoying your much-needed break in the North Yorkshire Dales. Summer evenings can be enjoyed to the side of Number Three where you will find an outside table and chairs. West Witton has two sought after pubs and restaurants in the village, the Wensleydale Heifer well known for its fine fayre and huge fish and chips, and The Fox perfect for a locally brewed ale and homemade meal. This picturesque village is all within easy reach of the popular market towns of Leyburn, Hawes and Richmond for those who enjoy wandering around the cafes and shops. A little further afield, guests can explore Bolton Abbey Estate near Grassington, Jervaulx Abbey, or take a day trip to the North York Moors. West Witton is the perfect destination for discovering all North Yorkshire has to offer. Local bus routes run fairly regularly through the village, and Northallerton has the nearest train station which follows the East Coast main line down to the south. You could easily park up the car for the duration of your stay. Additional Information: One well-behaved dog welcome and may consider two dogs on request (small additional charge). Children and Infants welcome. High chair is available on request. Please bring your own travel cot. Pillows and duvets are synthetic. En-suite shower room With a shower, wash basin, heated towel rail. (There is no toilet in the shower room) Bedroom two With a small 4' double bed and built in wardrobe. Family bathroom With bath, shower, wash basin and WC. Outside: Gravelled seating area with table and four chairs to the side of the property and bench seating two at the front which is south-facing. Off-road parking for two cars to the side of the property.
