Relax at this quiet private home and enjoy westward facing country views and sunsets over valleys and mountain ranges from your living room or outside deck. For exploring, you will be a close drive to skiing, mountain biking trails and you will have access to some of the best local gravel biking directly from the home. You might also enjoy a relaxing scenic Valley View road walk or hike, swim, paddle board, kayak, boat, fish and ski all in close proximity to this cozy 2 bedroom country house. The space The home has the highest speed WiFi (xFi - 1gb) available to meet your streaming, gaming, and teleworking needs. The bathroom sinks and toilets are one year old as is the entire kitchen. All major appliances (dishwasher, fridge, large capacity washer and dryer, ceramic top stove, coffee maker are one year old). There's a new whole house filtration system with filters changed on regular basis. The house is situated on a hillside with a walkout bottom floor/basement. The kitchen is located on this lowest level with views West to the mountain range and north to Mount Mansfield. This bottom floor has a new half bath located in the basement area and a futon is available in a side nook room at the base of the stairs (note; there are no doors for this nook room). All mattresses are new (1 yr) with additional comfort padding added to tops with mattress protectors. The walk-in floor from the driveway has the living room with a new electric fireplace and a full bathroom with a tub and shower combination. The second bedroom with a full over full size bunk bed and pull-out trundle is located on this primary walk-in floor also. The main bedroom with a king bed is located upstairs (note; no door at top of stairs to master bedroom-stairs lead directly to room). Each bedroom has a dedicated LG 6,000 BTU portable air conditioner. There is a quiet LG 14,000 BTU living room air conditioner capable of cooling the main living area of 800 sq feet with a quiet 44dB sleep mode. There is a gas grill situated on the lower deck. There is an outside water hose for easily cleaning bikes. Without traffic, it's a short 23 minute drive to the parking lot at Stowe Ski Resort or about 38 min to Sugarbush Ski Resort. Other things to note There is a health related exemption that prevents this property from being able to allow service animals. So, no service animals can be accommodated. There is mid-size pool table and dartboard setup in the basement. There is also a mini-portable pool table. Various kid board games are available, some kid books, and miscellaneous toddler thru 10 year old type kid toys. There are also some misc adult books, checkers, chess, uno, and playing cards available.
