Shep's Artist Retreat in the Village

Shep's Artist Retreat has 3 bedrooms/2.5 baths, 6 beds that sleeps 8. Located in the Lincoln National Forest this is summer home for portrait artist, Shep. The cabin has fantastic views from a private deck with table, chairs & grill. The bunk room is accessible by outside stairs to the lower level. Fenced yard with picnic table, swing & lawn chairs. The cabin features many of Shep's original paintings, 3 TV's with YouTube TV & Sling streaming, great WiFi reception, & no contact entry. The space The cabin has a wall heater which keeps it warm & cozy, however, there is also a wood burning stove if you like to have a roaring fire. Lots of open space for hanging out, playing games, watching TV. Full kitchen in main living area with every kitchen gadget you'll ever need. Wild life wander through the yard almost daily. Bunk house has 4 built-in bunks, couch, TV, mini kitchen with microwave & fridge & full bath. Treehouse & tipi for adults & kids located in common area behind Shep's Artist Retreat nextdoor. Guest access Our cabin has angled parking for 3 vehicles at street level in front of the cabin. Please do not park in or block neighbor's driveways. If you have large vehicles, make sure they are not blocking the street. If a neighbor has contacted us that they cannot get by your vehicle, we will give you a warning to move it. If we hear from the neighbor again, your vehicle will be towed at your expense. If you have more that 3 vehicles, you will need to leave them down in the village & shuttle people up. Parking is at a premium in this tiny village & we need to be respectful of others. Other things to note We have very heavy furniture in the cabin. Please do not move furniture around as our cleaner cannot move it back by herself. If she finds she will need help moving back furniture to it's original location, you will be charged $20 for an additional person's help. We are a NO SMOKING property & hope you will respect that. Also, we do not allow fire of any kind on our property. This includes turkey fryers, charcoal grills & fire pits. A propane grill is provided for your use. At times, the fire code may ban even smoking outdoors when the fire hazard is high. Please respect the forest.
