The space A beautiful 1929 Spanish Classic 2-story home with the authentic and original Kensington vibe. My home will give you a very nice & comfortable "base camp" to rest, rejuvenate, hang out -- and set you up to explore the new and old that San Diego has to offer. NO washer nor dryer available IF pets are pre-approved, there will be a PET DEPOSIT. To be negotiated at the time of booking - dependant on the length of stay, and size, age and behavior of the pet. Has been $1500 to $5000. Refunds are within 14 days (generally sooner). To date, every guest has gotten back 100% of their pet deposits - and That friends is the way we want it! Treat my home like your favorite Aunt's and we're golden ✨️ 👍 Other things to note Check in time is 3pm, please contact us if you require an earlier or later check in. You will be met. Check out at 11am. All adults must be over 31 years of age. No small children (stairs, hand oil-painted walls). No pets without prior authorization. Absolutely no smoking in the house. If smoking does occur the deposit will be forfeited or a charge of up to $1500 will be charged for additional cleaning. A nonrefundable cleaning fee is charged on all rentals. Please take good care of the home, leave it in the same good condition you found it. If upon arrival you are unsatisfied with the cleaning please contact us within one hour so we can attend to your specific need/s. The home is inspected after each guest/s departure. Additional charges will apply for stains on furnishings, rugs, flooring, window coverings, linens, towels, excessively dirty kitchen & appliances. These are not considered normal wear and are not covered by the cleaning fee. (Sorry, have to address excessively messy renters. ugh, bummer I know) Upon departure please bag all garbage and place in city black bins, recycling too in the blue bin, compost (in a brown paper bag) in the green bin. The general condition of the home should be left as found - with all dishes put back or placed in dishwasher. Floors and rugs should be in the same condition as they were found upon arrival (to prevent additional charges). Every reasonable effort will be made to remedy any unforeseen situations, and correct problems in as timely manner as possible. (This is boilerplate and has not been triggered, yet, thankfully!) Refunds or credits may be made (to be negotiated at the time) due to malfunctions in equipment, plumbing, HVAC, construction in the area, or other guest dissatisfaction. It is understood that there are many situations that are by nature beyond the scope of the owner, and/or agent, therefore credits or discounts will not necessarily be granted. The right to service (and to inspect) the home during your visit, is reserved - to include but not limited to a bi-weekly gardener, cleaning service, occasional handyman, all arranged by your host or co-host. A valid credit card or debit card # is required for a security deposit, so that any incidental charges that result for excessive damage, or any missing item/s, will be charged to the Renter's credit card. Renter will be notified of damages/losses with their costs in writing . For MONTHLY (plus) - guest renter/s pays the actual fees for electric and gas and water over $150. Copy of the billing will be sent to guest renter who's credit card is use (email address needed). Standard Cancellation Policy: Guests may receive a full refund if they cancel within 48 hours of booking, and at least 60 full days prior to the listing's local check-in time. Guests are entitled to a 50% refund (minus booking fees & taxes ) until to 30 days of scheduled arrival. Thank you for understanding.
