The Skyeloft

Welcome to our tiny house 'The Skyeloft'. Built by Chris and named after the littlest member of the team, our new private annexe provides the perfect getaway for for couples or solo travellers who are looking for an easy getaway amongst fantastic beaches, beautiful countryside and great places to eat out. Just a 5 minute walk into Braunton village 10 minute drive to Saunton Beach Croyde, Putts borough and Woolacombe are 15-20 minutes drive Free, private, secure, off road parking The space The Skyeloft is located on the side of our house and has two levels of accommodation. A ladder leads up to the beautifully built mezzanine level (unsuitable for those who are less able-bodied) which has a comfy double bed and Velux windows so you can view the night sky if you so wish! Blackout blinds create a quiet and peaceful place to sleep, unless you want to sleep under the stars! Bed linen is provided for guests. The downstairs space comprises of a sofa where you can sit and relax to watch the flat screen Smart TV which is wall mounted. Netflix, BBC IPlayer, More 4 and a variety of other channels are available for you to enjoy. Our modern bathroom has a double electric shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail and towels are provided. The kitchen area is well equipped with enough appliances to create some dishes: a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Workspace and a sink complete our lovely little kitchen and a small table with 2 chairs means you can sit and enjoy a small meal or breakfast. Select breakfast items are included in the welcome package along with some goodies! Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and milk are also included. Outside there is a small, private patio area with two garden seats and a hot outdoor shower for when you get back from the beach! Security lights are located at the back of the property where the outdoor area is. Private parking is to the front of the property and is off road. Security cameras are placed on the front of the property as well as a Ring doorbell and security lighting. Guest access Guests are able to park on the drive right outside The Skyeloft. The accommodation is accessed through a secure gate that has a keypad on. The code will be shared prior to arrival via messenger. Double doors lead into the annexe, which is screened from the rest of the property. Keys will be in the door ready for guests to enter. Guests have access to a private outdoor area with garden furniture and an outdoor shower, great for when you come back from the beach. Other things to note We do offer a lift service to places close by if guests wish to go on a night out. Taxis can be difficult to hire at times, and for a fee, we are happy to arrange lifts to and from Barnstaple, Croyde or Woolacombe (this would need to be booked in advance). We can also offer transfers to places for guests with their bikes so that they can enjoy a ride back to Braunton. We are right on the Tarka Trail and if guests book in advance, we can transport you and your bikes to a destination further down the trail for you to navigate back (extra fee applies dependent on how far the transfer is).
