The Tullet, boutique hideaway in Somerset

A beautifully converted and extended 18th Century loft above a former horse stable, the Tullet is located just outside Banwell, around 8 miles inland from Weston-super-Mare. With outstanding views of the Mendip Hills, the Tullet provides an ideal staging post for walking or cycling the Mendips or visiting local towns such as Cheddar, Wells, Clevedon, Weston, Bath and Bristol. It is converted to a very high standard and has a quirky boutique style all its own. Sleeps 2, plus a sofabed. The space The Tullet is accessed up a curving stone stairway from the driveway of the main house. Inside, the hallway provides access to the fully fitted modern kitchen, shower/room and rear patio area through the back door. Through the archway, you enter the original 18th Century loft space which has been modernised and now accommodates both bedroom and living/dining room areas in an open plan setup. To the front, south facing full width sliding glazed doors look out onto Crook Peak, the 'pointiest' of the Mendip Hills, as well as providing views across the fields to the village of Winscombe. Guest access The Tullet is self-contained and guests have sole use of the property. Please note: the Tullet is not suitable for those requiring disabled access. Other things to note The Tullet includes a sofa bed in the main living room which is suitable a young child. Please let us know when booking if you wish to use it, and we can provide additional linen. A maximum of two dogs can be accommodated in the Tullet, and they are charged per night.
