Nestled in the picturesque Cretan hills, and just 15' from the famous beach of Sougia, our house has been recently renovated with great care and taste. Experience the ultimate traditional village escape, waking up to the sound of roosters and wild Cretan birds that fly freely on our beautiful clear sunny skies. It is rustic retreat for those who want to find some peace of mind in nature, good hikes (free access to AllTrail app) and some of the most amazing views right from their living room. The space This original countryside cottage is part of “Mountain Bliss Guesthouses”, sleeps up to 4 people and has 1 bedroom and 1 separate large room with a desk that can accommodate 2 people. Located on the first floor of our building, has its own balcony with a view of the enchanting Cretan mountains. If you are looking for a long stay, our house is the right one for you, as it has a fully equipped kitchen and a wide selection of Cretan herbs and spices for your meals! As there are many hiking opportunities in the area (lots of trails for easy and advanced hiking), our guests have free access to AllTrail app to enjoy unique hiking moments! Finally, the famous beach of Sougia with its crystal-clear waters is only 15 minutes away by car, which makes the location of the house unique, as it combines mountains with sea! Living room The living room, which is situated so it has incredible views of the surrounding mountains and enjoys morning sunrises and evening sunsets, has a comfortable sofa and a TV with Roku smart box for your entertainment. You will also find a handmade wooden desk as a workspace, where you can work (reliable Wi-Fi high speed connection) while enjoying the incredible view from the glass window that covers the living room from two sides. Also, during the warm weather, you can use the air conditioner or correspondingly in the cold months you can use the wood stove, ensuring a comfortable stay all year round. Kitchen The kitchen comes fully equipped with all appliances, dishware and utensils and a variety of Cretan spices and herbs, making the house ideal for long stays as well. Bedroom The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed, a ceiling fan, and air conditioning outside the room. Separate large room There is a desk, a double bed, ceiling fan, and air conditioning outside the room. Bathroom The bathroom, complete with a shower cubicle, has a washing machine, ironing board and iron. Also, you will find shampoo, shower gel, laundry detergents and other bathroom amenities. Outside the house, there is the “relaxing area”, a balcony which facing towards the mountain giving amazing views from the first thing in the morning, till the setting sun.
